ROGUE

ROGUE

Blake whispered. "You are so cheesy. You know that, right?" I chuckled with my eyes still closed. I was just about to open them again when I spotted the familiar figure in the corner of the darkness. He didn't move or even speak but I knew that he was there and I knew that it was Kyros.

I Marked The CEO Mine

I Marked The CEO Mine

And some thing more: There on the floor in front of her stood a small gargoyle. Ta-da! he said. He was about a foot tall, crouched low with his hands crossed and his elbows resting on his knees. His pores and skin used to be the coloration of stone--he used to be stone--but when he waved at her, she should see he was limber ample to be made of flesh and muscle. He seemed like the type of statue youd find capping the roof of a Catholic church. His fingernails and toenails have been long and pointed, like little claws. His ears were pointed, too--and pierced with small stone hoops. He had two little hornlike nubs protruding from the top of a brow that was once fleshy and wrinkled. His massive

Wolfbane

Wolfbane

I didn’t even bother thanking her or saying goodbye, relieved that I’d never have to smell the disgusting mix of old lady perfume and cigarettes, or hear her raspy smoker’s voice, again. A few days later, on a warm Thursday in mid-August, Hugo drove me to his pack. We stopped at the entrance and exited the car, then we were brought to a small room. The werewolves who escorted us there wrinkled their noses at the sight of me, and I realized it must be my rogue smell. I let out a deep sigh. When we were waiting alone, I asked Hugo, “Is the smell really that bad?” He rubbed the back of his neck and said, “No, they’re exaggerating. It’s just a little unpleasant.”

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

What Elizabeth saw was not a common artesian fountain, in which everything was static and water flowed, but statues of all kinds, shapes and sizes, winged horses, angels, sea creatures you could not even imagine if you did not see personally, and many other human or less human creatures made up the fountain, moved freely playing with water making it run continuously in various ways. Furthermore, those statues moved their body, as if they were not built of stone, but had joints and were made of flesh and bones. However ... they were petrified. “Gargoyle”, said Mrs. Harmony. “Magic statues came to life. You will meet them everywhere. In various forms ... Human, or mermaid, or fantastic creatur

Quagmire

Quagmire

Thank you all for reading my book. This is my second book on good novel and I hope you all enjoy it. 'Quagmire' is a romance novel which possesses a lot of twists, turns, complications but still enough romance to keep it interesting and thrilling. The book is an entire work of fiction and is not intended to make mockery or downgrade any kind of individual.

Graveyard Watchman

Graveyard Watchman

"Humans and angels have co-existed since time began. This place is no different." "Well," I shake my head, "they must have done something right to get this gig." Dominic laughs. "That my dear, is an understatement." The entryway to the castle is impossibly more magnificent than the gorgeous city we just walked through, with arches of shiny gold and giant marble angel carvings. Quite similar to the Seraph Council's arched doors, yet much taller and grander in scale.

The Demon Mate

The Demon Mate

I don't mean to flatter myself, but it sounds like he's in love with me, and he's getting ahead of himself. A relationship with anyone who is not like myself could be hazardous. Especially when you're like me, supernatural and hunted. Even among the supernaturals, my type is hunted and killed. Humans were the ones who took us in and helped us. They also gave us a name. Gargoyle. A creature that is both grotesque and hideous. Of course, most don't look like a demon that crawled out of the earth, but it helped to represent us, albeit to the extreme. Gargoyles were the product of a union between an angel and a demon.

Gargoyles in Uniform

Or at least how deep down a rabbit hole he would go with this subject. He'd talked to his friends and they agreed that the goblins had to be exposed. If it meant they as gargoyles would be exposed, well that was collateral damage. He and his fellow owners of a nightclub, Grotesque, along with their friends at Foley Security who were gargoyles married to fairies, could no longer fight this battle alone. The needed the help of the normies, those without any supernatural powers.

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

"That's insane." "Now you know why monsters and magic items are so coveted. For some, it's the only way to gain any true power." Naia tilted her head at Abella. "Gargoyles are impervious to most normal means. Neither blade nor flame can scratch their hides, and they are extremely strong. There are few places in the world that could protect you from a gargoyle attack. With just Abella at your side, you could have your enemies killed with little fear of recourse." "Well, not that I really do that now," Abella added. "I'm bound to the house. Unless such a task involves the long term protection of this place, I can't fly very far from here without feeling a strong

Eagles

Eagles

Eagles quarters None of them had memories, they were one, and their whole life was based on killing. Their eyes were empty, devoid of feelings, cold. They had no family, no friends, they didn’t know what love was – they had never experienced it. They were told they were special, one of a kind. They were like machines, marionettes obeying orders. They never hesitated, taking the lives of others. They had no right to make their own decisions.
