The Scar Beneath The Veil

The Scar Beneath The Veil

"This is for the gala." He opened the box. Nestled inside was a single, dazzling sapphire pendant, surrounded by a delicate halo of diamonds, perfectly matching the deep blue of her gown. It was exquisite, easily the most beautiful piece of jewelry Amara had ever seen. He didn't offer it to her. He simply held it up, letting the dim light catch the cold, hard brilliance of the stone.

No Strings Contract

No Strings Contract

he drew up a curtain to reveal a large mirror, then he turned my seat to it. "Geez," I whispered, my fingers shivering as I touched the necklace. It was simple yet detailed. At the tips were fine touches of purple gemstones. "The purple color is from my amethyst precious stones." He commented. "Ian," Tears welled up in my eyes. "Hey, come on, babe. Why are you crying now?" I could not speak anymore, I just stood up and hugged him tightly, my head resting on his shoulder. "You didn't choose the design I thought you would pick. This was the simplest." He was rubbing my back, trying to comfort me.

The Rule

The Rule

Smoke rose in tendrils from open-air stalls where meats sizzled and spices filled the air with an intoxicating perfume. Samarth and Inayat emerged from the jewel seller’s shop, her fingers still brushing the pendant resting over her heart. It was carved from the finest Alexandrite, a stone that shifted its hues under different lights—green by day, red by night. Just like the quiet war within her. Samarth had paid the jeweler in gold coins, heavy and old, etched with his crest. Inayat mounted Cyclone, the white stallion, but her gaze lingered on Samarth as he secured his own steed.

Eve Above Storymom said it's my turn
I saw Maeve in this ring, and I was… mystified. “That,” the clerk said, noticing my intense focus, “is cut from one of the most rare gems in our stock.” He pulled out the ring from the glass case with careful, steady hands and held it up for us to take a closer look. “Behold, the Amethyst of Artemis.” “It’s beautiful,” Burke commented from somewhere beside me. “And you say it’s rare?”

Liked this story. I read it because I loved one of the author's previous stories, so I felt like I was going to love this one too. And it was so true! However, I'd love it even more if you could update? Please? I'm thrilled to know what would happen next! Please! Pretty please!

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.

Taming the Alpha

Taming the Alpha

Cas said after a moment. He held out his hand and opened his palm to reveal a Pink Malaya Garnet set within a rose gold stone setting, there was something about the gemstone that felt familiar as if I have seen it before. The intricate cut of the gem reflected the light from the moon with perfection as the roseate hues reflected my fuchsia eyes, the warmth that radiated from the perfect cut felt as if it were a part of my soul. It was a jewel that I was meant to treasure with my very life. It has come back to me, I thought as I reached out for the familiar object.

He was calculating, thinking of every probability ahead of time. In the end, to soothe Stephen Ling’s anger, we bought some VBH earrings, special pink kuznite - a variety of spodumene according to Stephen’s explanation when I asked - inlaid necklaces, a pearl necklace that cost hundreds of thousands, gold pieces, brooches and a lot more.

THE FORGOTTEN LUNA

THE FORGOTTEN LUNA

Kael wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face on my back. “A few days ago, they gave me many gems and made me choose ten.” “Do you remember what you chose?” He asked, his face still pressed against my back. I shook my head. “Not all, as I didn’t know all the gems. But among those I choose, the ones that are familiar are Sapphire, Citrine, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, and Garnet. All the others, I was not familiar with.” I heard him mumble, repeating the ones I told him.

I started this book back in Dec when it had maybe 60 chapters. The slow updates turned me off, so I started another book that was started in Dec. The book is completed today with 157 chapters yet this 1 still hasn't made any progress. Waste of my time. It’s been 4 mths N only 40 added chapters. Smh.

Bound by the Alphas

Bound by the Alphas

When I got close enough to a case, my breath was stolen as I stared at the beautiful variations available here. When we got closer to the back, I couldn’t help but let out a gasp when my eyes landed on a beautiful necklace in a separate wooden case, the glass polished to perfection to show off every scintillating gem. It was silver, with the wires crossing and intertwining in a beautiful design as it housed garnets, amethyst, and even a few diamonds. In the center was a large clear gem, cradled by the threads of silver. Funny enough, there was no price tag, just an ‘inquire about item’ sign next to the box. It's just a stunning necklace so painfully out of reach.
