The Alpha Who Forgot Me

The Alpha Who Forgot Me

The Alpha of Silver Creek, reduced to a beggar at the gate, unable to pay the price of love. Then, a small hand slipped into mine. "Daddy?" I looked down. Sayler. He had slipped back through. He shouldn't have been able to pass—Remy had paid, but the barrier was still semi-permeable until he crossed. "You can't come back in here, baby," I whispered, my voice breaking. "Go with Mommy." "No," Sayler said firmly. He shook his head. "You're lonely." He looked at the Gatekeeper. I CANNOT ACCEPT FROM A CHILD, the entity said. A CHILD HAS NO WORTH.

The reluctant vow

The reluctant vow

I’m sorry to all of you. There was a long silence in the room. The truth had finally been said. Raw. Ugly. Unjustifiable. But real. Outside, the noise of reporters and bloggers still buzzed faintly at the gate. But inside, for one moment, all was still. The room had barely settled from Imani’s confession when the gatekeeper appeared at the doorway, panting slightly. GATEKEEPER (slight bow) Sir… there’s someone at the gate. It’s… it’s Nathan.

said the gatekeeper's leader to his colleagues. They obeyed and did exactly what they were asked to do by their leader. After thoroughly searching, they didn't find any harmful things. “Sir, they are not with anything harmful,” they announced. “Alright, you let them pass.” The gatekeepers' leader said. Julian and Everett nodded in appreciation. But when they were about to pass, the gatekeepers' leader called out. “Your face looks familiar.” said the gatekeepers' leader to Everett. “Hmm… Well, I'm not a visitor here. And I believe that we do see each other anytime I come here,” Everett responded with a smile on his face.

Opening the Door

Opening the Door

“If you trust him, then so do I.” “Kyle?” she called out and knew that her brother had stayed at the table. She walked into the room with Mack and sat there as Kyle made his way back. The bookshelf door was open, and Kyle walked into the outer room. “Hello,” Kyle said as he put out his hand to Mack. “Not sure if you remember me, but I was the other one who was looking out for her at her graduation.” “I do,” Mack replied. “She always talked about you rather well. At least she didn’t think you were like the others.”

SILVERFURS HEIRESS MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA

SILVERFURS HEIRESS MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA

"We agree to take on your challenge." The guardian's eyes shone even more, and the chamber appeared to change its surroundings. The base and the book disappeared, substituted by a row of stone doors along the walls. Every door had unique symbols illuminated dimly by the flickering torchlight. "Make a wise choice," the guardian advised. Every door leads to a challenge. Access to the book will only be granted after successfully completing all the trials. Kyra experienced a blend of anticipation and anxiety. The future of their world may rely on the knowledge gained in this place. "She said, filled with determination, 'Let's get this done.'"

His mate: Fated to the Lycan

His mate: Fated to the Lycan

“...to close a portal, one must find the key that opened it and use it to seal it shut.” Nathan walked straight to his study room, a sense of urgency in his steps. The guards, always alert, followed closely behind. As he entered the room, he quickly made his way to his desk, ignoring the piles of papers and books scattered on its surface. He held a book tightly, its pages worn and its cover tattered. He had been studying it for weeks, searching for answers to the strange occurrences that had been happening in their kingdom.

The Key That Failed

The Key That Failed

It was the seventh year we spent living separately after the marriage. I came to see Blake Shaw, and once again, my key broke and was stuck in the keyhole. I quickly called Blake. He said, "You probably got the wrong key again. Stay in a hotel. I'll come back and open the door." I looked at the sticker on the key and froze. The key was right. He changed the locks. Before I could think further, my father called, and he laughed heartily. "Of course he's out! He came over first thing in the morning, and he brought gifts! Then, my best friend's call came in. She was drunk from the sounds of it. "He's drinking with Zack. Your man's growing to be a good drinker." Then, my brother's call came.

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

“The Gatekeeper is becoming restless.” “Gatekeeper?” Anna frowns. “Mhmm.” Cassandra turns towards her cell. “The Gods aren’t just sealed, ya know,” she explains. “There’s a gatekeeper who’s keeping them at bay. A wonderful companion to it’s predecesor. The story is a fantasy dark romance but in a good way. It’s done so well even Shakespeare would approve lol it’s full of hate love and adventure. Watch out Lord of the rings you have competition with this wonderful writer.

Dead of Night

Dead of Night(My Forbidden Vampire)

“Would you be able to take me to it? And maybe help me dig it up.” “That’s an interesting idea for a second date, Ms. Martin. I have to say, you keep me on my toes.” I smile. “If only that’s what this is…trying to be spontaneous or something.” “Or something. No one who’s asked me to dispose of a body has ever asked me to dig it back up.” “Can you, though? I kind of need it.” “If you’re into necrophilia, I’m good at playing dead.” “Gross. And a world of no. I got the book today—thank you, by the way—and it got me thinking that maybe this Gatekeeper is guarding another realm or something similar. Something important enough to have demons guarding or…or…whatever that demon was doing the other n
