Gate Of Babylon Novels & Stories

*** Xander's POV *** The eastern gate of the Obsidian Citadel was a masterpiece of military fortification. Heavy, reinforced titanium-steel doors, thirty feet high, etched with thousands of overlapping defensive shield runes. To any normal army, it was an impassable wall. To me, it was just a monolithic server begging to be crashed.

“You saw this gateway?” “Mmm” I tilt my head back and forth slowly, “It was the mirror” I point to the folder where a page depicts the gateway hidden underground in Tolba. “Queen Lamia found a book, that explained how to…” I think of the right words, “…Open the gateway.”

He laughed and so did the others. The gate was opened for them with the usual fanfare, and they walked into the city. Yvayn walked alongside his father pointing here and there as Myllyof explained what each building was. They walked through markets passing hundreds of people on their way to the square of Thaliese. Deep inside the city they came to a very ornate gate with walls of ancient green stone. The gate was carved with lots of figures of birds, animals, and plants. Tall skinny figures of people stood across the top of the gate looking straight ahead. The door was of aged cypress cut from the swamps around Careath. The doors were held in place by long wide bronze hinges. This gate was t

POV EMMA BELLE The main entrance to Sun-Spire was the Apollo Gate, a massive archway carved from solid white stone and reinforced with enchanted iron. Normally, the gates stood open to welcome trade, but today, they were slammed shut. Two full legions of Council Peacekeepers stood atop the battlements, their silver crossbows aimed squarely at our front line.

Boom. Boom. Boom. Survivors in the control room stopped moving completely. One by one, they turned toward the screen. Then— they bowed. Not out of loyalty. Out of instinctive submission. Inside the abyss— the massive gate began to open. Slowly. With unbearable weight. Two halves separated. No machinery noise. Only that heartbeat growing louder. Vivienne stepped forward. Alexander followed. Side by side. Inside the opened gate— there was no machinery. No storage system. Only rows upon rows of glass biological cylinders stretching into darkness.

But I knew that beneath the surface, they sensed a force to be reckoned with. As we ventured into the night, the city lights cast an ethereal glow on our path. Under the captivating glow of the full moon, Mateo, Tony, and I made our way towards the imposing structure known as Babylon Tower. Its long, majestic silhouette loomed before us, constructed with sturdy brick stones that had withstood the test of time. As we approached, the tower seemed to exude an aura of mystery and power, drawing us closer with its irresistible allure. The moonlight filtered through the wide windows, casting ethereal rays across the grand hall within. The space was bathed in a soft, mesmerizing glow, lending an ot

Lorenzo picked up another photograph. His father stood beside Gabriel. Both men were younger. Underneath the photograph was a handwritten message. IF THEY FIND THE GIRLS, FIND GABRIEL. Aria stared. "Why?" Seraphina answered. "Because he knows where the first gate is." "The first gate?" "Dawn has seven gates." Aria frowned. "Seven?" "Each one leads to a different part of the system." "And how many have been opened?" Seraphina looked at her. "Three."

It was a testament to the lives that had been intertwined with the very fabric of the world, their destinies forever entwined with forces far greater than themselves. Jericho and Sable paused before a massive stone door, intricately adorned with celestial motifs and guarded by two statues of ancient guardians. As they studied the door, a soft whisper brushed against their ears, carrying an otherworldly promise of truth and revelation.

Why? “This is what it looks like when you hold hands.” Freya reaches over and swipes to the other image. The inside of the gate changes from words to circles with icons inside. I see a lightning bolt, crossed hammers, an old Roman helmet, a trident, and more. I do a quick count. Thirteen circles. Each has a different icon. Caleb reaches out and takes the phone, looking at Emily’s video in awe. I watch his jaw soften. He looks at me and back at the video.

"Let's if it is about that little boy Joshua, then he is the lackey of that Egyptian Prince turned Israelite that Moses… sent to be a reconnaissance spy with the ultimate goal to retrieve the promised land of God, Canaan… well, Israel if there is no discrepancy in the location name." "You're quite knowledgeable about this…." Jigen said. We were momentarily interrupted when Gwyneth wasn't able to sense the monster coming from the rear of the statue, "Sorry guys!" She said as she pushed the monster away from there. I looked at the statue as a whole and examined it, trying to remember the history just as it happened before my eyes. The statue resembles a gate, with two four-meter-tall pillars s
