Dane and Samson walked up to us and Mortas laughed heartily. "I can't believe you did that to the demon Drorzon," Mortas chuckled and put his arm across my shoulders. I eyed him curiously. "He was a demon, what were they looking for," I asked curiously. He gave me a sideways glance. "The doorway to hell, I might have told them that it was a key they needed," he grinned and covered his mouth. I elbowed him and laughed, wrapping my arm around Samson's waist. I Looked around the room and the place was completely trashed. I pulled away from Samson and shook my head. I closed my eyes and raised my hands. I lowered them slowly and yawned. I opened my eyes and everything was clean and normal.

I stared at him while waiting for an answer. “It’s a Demon’s symbol.” My eyes furrowed at what he said. I stared at his eyes but he seems serious! But what? Demon’s symbol? I don’t understand. “D-Demon?” I stammered. He nodded and looked away. He’s now back on staring at the glass wall. I shook my head in disagreement. “Are you kidding me? There’s no such thing about Demons! I am finding the murderer and-“ “It’s always been the Demon’s fault, Majesty. They are just using the people to do bad things but it’s always been their idea to hurt and kill someone.” He said while staring at the glass wall. I am even more confuse now.

The demon put his hand over his mouth and felt sick. The fact that he was so weak at this moment annoyed him very much. But when Godric's words reached his pointy ears, he looked up. Pieces of the gate floated towards the blue-haired man, seemed to come back together on their own. Of course, the demon also knew what this meant and didn't want to let it get that far. He landed perfectly in front of a massive, towering entrance that felt like the mouth of a monster. The demon guards stationed at the gate snapped to attention, their eyes glowing with malice as they leveled their spears directly at his chest. Asher didn’t even flinch. An unseen force struck both Damian and Dennis, sending them hurtling backward. They crashed to the ground, dazed and disoriented. Damian’s head spun, but he forced himself to his feet, glaring at the figure that now stood before them. It was one of the Gatekeepers. The Gatekeeper was massive, its body clad in dark armor, and in its hands, it held a giant axe that seemed almost too large to wield. The Gatekeeper’s voice boomed through the air, commanding authority. “Go back to where you came from,” it said. “There is no place for you here. You are not worthy. Only the purest of heart may seek the Gatekeepers.”

The path to the demon realm was narrow we passed through coved mountains and hills, and whenever the carriage tilted over, I felt her flinch. From a distance, I saw it a tall, grand gate. Black pillars were chained together with links the size of my torso, sigils crawling across the surface like living things. Before it stood the guardian a horned, gray-skinned demon whose molten eyes locked on mine the moment we approached. "Lucian," he rumbled, his voice a deep vibration—low and ancient. "Lycan king." He bowed, and at his command the gates opened without any challenge. Light, not darkness, welcomed us.

A moment later he returned, turning corporal once more and carrying her bags. "How did you do that?" He raised a brow, as if it were obvious. "I'm a spectral demon." "That is so cool. So you're like a ghost or something?" "Most humans who think they've seen a ghost are actually witnessing a spectral demon." Her curiosity racing she asked jokingly, "Can you go all Jedi and move things with your mind?" He cocked his head, as if he were about to give a lecture to a group of children. "Yes, when I go fully demonic I have telekinetic abilities. And I can't be harmed or killed. It makes my kind invaluable, especially on the battlefield."

Hendrix replied. "The demon in me is your lord, Hendrix?" Alex asked, puzzled. "Yes, he is. Haven't you wondered why I am the only one who can make you return to your normal state whenever it feels like you're about to erupt?" Hendrix eyed Alex and continued, "I'm the demon's keeper. Its protector. Your people have harmed my demon, and that is why I would ruin them."

We don’t talk, we don’t look, we keep our gazes on Rosa. I hear a rumble when Rosa raises her hand and produces a ball of light. She tosses it in her palm, catching it when she throws it and it hits a door and the doors open. The screams die down. As we enter the room. A huge, open roaring fire to the left. The Gate of Purgatory hums and the souls trapped on the gate moan and move like grey shadows. The Gate is massive. The size of the room. “Guardian, I call you forward.” Rosa’s voice booms as we all watch silently as she steps forward. The gate groans and rattles as a huge demon steps forward, dragging a sword behind him that leaves a trail of sparks behind it.

Henry asked, confused, was the demon spying on them all the time? “Yes, the demonic gate is a very strong tool that cannot be destroyed by anything except for the dark magic that forged in the first place, one of its halves roamed the human kingdom for centuries until it fell in the hands of the priests, they tried to destroy it in so many ways, burn it, tear it up, drawn it even, but none worked, and in fear of it falling into the wrong hands, they kept it on the holy tower.” Where it remained inactive until a silver haired lady woke it up, he thought to himself.
