Just looking at his face made me nauseous. I pursed my lips tightly and, with heavy steps, approached the high platform before climbing onto it. I was still trying to steady myself when a figure suddenly leaped from the ground and landed on the platform—more than a hundred feet high. My eyes widened in shock as I recognized the burly man, his body rippling with muscles. Then he spoke, his voice loud enough to shake mountains and stir the oceans. “Today, we are going to witness another memorable day in our pack. Today, we are going to crown our Luna. Everyone, cheer!”

I lead her to her chair and help her to sit down before returning my gaze to the sea of eyes in front of me, time to burst their bubbles. “I shouldn’t be doing this because it is not necessary but I guess I should so we won’t have any kind of problems in the future. I am sure most of you have heard by now and yes it is right, Natalia is back to take her rightful place beside me and my mate and the new Luna of our pack” Their suprised eyes widen more, I guess they were not expecting that much. “What about Luna Michelle?” Someone asks from the crowd and my gaze darkens, that was a name I never want to hear again.

They had worked up a ferocious appetite. Alpha Xander and Luna Avery went back to their den. They chose to live underground in a safe space built into a network of tunnels. The secret exit was only known to Alphas and Lunas. Luna undressed and poured hot water into her bath. She added some honeysuckle and rose oil. She stepped into it while peeking back to Alpha Xander flirtatiously. “Careful, Luna, Alec is ready to devour Bella.” “Come then and let us get dirty while we get clean.”

"The wild currents are pooling ahead. Luna, is this an illusion or a physical displacement?" Luna closed her eyes, her silver-crystal staff tapping the ground. A ripple of soft emerald light drifted into the chasm, only to be violently deflected into the sky. "It’s a kinetic pressure trap, Leo. If your boot hits that ridge, the mountain will try to fold itself over you. Give me a moment... I can thread a bridge of light across the variance."

And word on the border is that Kashton Blackwood isn't coming to fight for you."

Keeping close, I extended my hand to Leonardo, curling my lips into a coy smile as he brushed his lips against it. “I’m Anastasia Lasko.” His eyes popped open, going wide enough for me to make out the various shades of brown within them. Even his face paled. “Anastasia Lasko as in the future Luna of the famous Eclipse Pack?” “Do you know another Anastasia Lasko?” I winked, causing some color to come back to his cheeks. “I’m only teasing, Leonardo. Yes, I am the future Luna of the Eclipse Pack.” I had to hand it to the reporter. He sure did pull himself together quickly, replacing his eager and excitable mask.

I present her as the pack’s official Luna and while the pack cheers, they begin to come up and drink from the chalice, one by one confirming their dedication and loyalty to Malin as their Luna. When the last person drinks, I wrap my arm around her waist. “Canyon Ridge Pack, I give you your Luna, Luna Malin Forte!” I say and the pack cheers again. She leans her head against my shoulder and I can smell the salt of her tears. I kiss the top of her head and raise my hand to quiet the group. “We have one more announcement this evening and then I promise I’ll let you all begin celebrating,” I say and everyone chuckles.

Inés turns pale and doesn't take her eyes off Connor and Selene's joined hands, while Clarisse covers her mouth in astonishment. "Connor, what...?" Carla tries to say something, but the alpha interrupts her. "Mother, Clarisse, Inés, this is Selene, my mate and future Luna of our pack." The word "Luna" rings in Inés' head, while Carla looks Selene up and down before shaking her head in evident disapproval. She doesn't even try to hide it, and Jackson mentally laughs at the scene. However, he wouldn't want to be in Selene's shoes right now or in the coming days.

Intentionally, I let my shoes hit the floors in a loud manner while I make my way to the king sized bed as to gain his attention. But much to my demise, the frame on the bed remains unmoving. "Greetings, your majesty, the Lycan King. I, the Luna of Lumina would like to have a word with you." Even at my introduction, I got nothing as a result. His breathing remains calm and undisturbed. "You could easily be killed this way, your highness." I whispered while making my way closer to the left of the bedside. I couldn't get a clear view of his face since he's facing the balcony windows and once I did, I stopped dead on my tracks.

The lady asks. "What news?" He coldly answers. "Edward has a Luna, and you won't believe who it is?" [Jubilantly] "It's an Omega." [Scoffs] "Why am I not surprised? He has always been a weakling." "Well, don't you think this is the perfect time to launch an attack and crush him?" she devilishly mutters.
