"Listen, I don't mean to be rude, but Aaron. This rat is getting annoying!" I turned around to find Dave clinging onto Christian's arm. Christian clearly looked annoyed with how many times he pushed Dave away.

And, his predatory calmness. That! he gave her the heebie gibbies. She knew instantly that there was more to him than he let on. Clicking on her g****e app, she g****ed his image. ‘No results found…’ went the monotonous voice of her G****e assistant. She tried and tried, each time, altering the image In some way she thought the android would be able to recognize something of importance. But the voice of the g****e assistance kept saying the same thing over and over again.

The man getting over my mother as fast as he did was painful enough for me, therefore, the last thing that I needed was to relive that again. “I know that my words are not going to help you in any way, but I also want you to move on from blocking yourself behind your shields and walls.” He said, and I took a deep breath, trying to control myself as I put my hand on my stomach, fisting my shirt momentarily. “I understand that this move is important for you to do so, but I want you to know that regardless of who is Luna here, you are the Alpha’s daughter, his heir, and the present that your mother gave to me.”

Alpha Jackson POV Dammit, I can’t believe how things turned out. That damn Caleb Sweeting was still haunting me. All these years, I had thought he was dead. Instead, he had been waiting to exact his revenge. His mate had been a beautiful woman, she had been hard to resist. I met her before I met my dear Luna. Beta Gregory and I were much younger then and perhaps some would say selfish men. If we saw something we liked, we usually took it. And usually there were never any complaints.

Wendy whispered to a girl who was standing behind her. “Really? She can be brought back to life?” West said. “Yes, but I’ll need your help. Please, come down.” Wendy said. “I don’t believe you. It’s impossible, she’s dead and gone. Stop trying to give me hope when there is none, it only hurts the more.” West said and ran to the other side of the rooftop where no one was so that no one would attempt to catch him if he fell and he let himself go as he fell to the ground.

Just as West was about to push the door open, a voice stopped him. “Mr. Grant, are you looking for this?” Hamish held up a portable defibrillator and gave it a small shake in West’s direction. West spun around at once, grabbed the defibrillator from his hands, and rushed out of the office without even looking back. Even though Nina hadn’t been in Seaview City all these years, West still kept a defibrillator on hand at all times because of her heart condition. He had it at home, in the office, and even in the car.
