Novel & Cerita General Book Club Questions

I’m trying to be patient, but it’s harder than I’d like to admit. Two months ago, I opened my bookstore, and it’s been incredible. Twice a week, we host book clubs, and I’ve made it a point to bring one of the guys with me to each session. It’s hilarious watching their faces as we dive into the discussions. The women seem to enjoy it too—something about discussing steamy romance scenes with a bit of eye candy in the room. The door finally creaks open, and I sit up straighter as they walk in.

As I perused the books, I could feel Aidan’s gaze on me. The shop, much like the one downstairs, boasted an impressive selection. These were books to be enjoyed in the coffee lounge, not purchased or taken home. A smile tugged at my lips as I reached the romance novel section. So, Well Thumbed had these too. I wondered if they had hidden gems, perhaps something I hadn’t read or that Uncle Alex’s book club, Bound To Please, hadn’t discovered yet.

Yet here I was, in this room full of people who had chosen me, not because they had to, but because they wanted to. I smiled, a real one this time, and sat at the center of the circle. April clapped her hands together, bubbling in excitement. “Okay, enough of the emotional display. Let’s get to work. Book Club is officially back in session!” Laughter filled the room. We started tossing around ideas for the next reading list, but the discussion quickly turned into a chaotic mess of inside jokes and playful teasing. Maya insisted we include something “dark and brooding,” while Sammy argued for something “funny, because God knows we all need to laugh more.” April rolled her eyes and wrote both

I huff at him, looking at the clock. "Don't you need to be to the school by ten?" I ask. "Ah, shit." He answers and I hear him rummaging through his drawers on the other end. "What do you want?" He asks. "There's a new book club at the book store starting in a couple of days. You wanna go?" I ask and he grunts at me as I hear the rustling of him getting dressed over the phone. "A book club? Isn't that for old ladies?" He asks and I chuckle.

“It’s pretty wild. You’re in for an interesting night.” Luna grabs another copy of the book from a nearby stack and hands it to me. “Here you go. This one’s a fresh copy, we have plenty. You’ll see why in a minute.” I take the book, glancing between them. “You’ve actually got extras? What kind of book club is this?” Lilly grins mischievously. “One that takes its material seriously. We didn’t just pick this one by chance. We’ve been swapping theories about it for weeks now. Everyone’s dying to hear your take.”

Like someone had started carving something beautiful and then walked away. “Where are we going?” I asked. He gave nothing. Men like him probably didn’t waste words on their victims. Too busy murdering families and ruining perfectly good evenings. Or maybe he had a speech problem. I squinted my eyes at him as I tried to imagine him having difficulty with words. “I have book club tomorrow. We’re doing Pride and Prejudice. I’m supposed to bring scones. I would really like not to miss it.” Still zero reaction. Not even a twitch at the corner of his mouth.

"White and death are counterparts." The silence that came after lasted only a minute. "So, let's begin. I don't have any book planned yet for us to dive into. I'm still getting a hang on the whole book club idea so, why don't we do something fun instead." "Aren't we suppose to return the envelopes?/?" Eddie asked. "Oh, you haven't opened it yet?" Nobody said yes. "Well go on, open them." "What's inside?" Brandon asked. "I don't know." Angel replied with a shrug.

"But if you have any questions, if there's anything you need to know that you think might make this whole experience even a little bit easier then just ask. If I can provide an answer I will." Maybe this whole library deal would turn out to be more useful than I could ever have hoped. "Well, I do have one question. What exactly is a mate?"

’ Hestia and Albert asked themselves as they continued the conversation. “How are you and Arthur now? We noticed that the two of you hangout less often now.” Albert asked the question. Aaron raised a brow at this but answered nonetheless. If it was Hestia who asked this question, it would raise Aaron’s guard even more. But knowing that Albert and his club were connected to the Journalist club, it is only easy and normal for him to ask those questions. There are times that the journalism club would ask help from the Photography Club to gather more information than they can gather.

I caught fragments of whispered discussions about territory disputes and threats from rival clubs. "What's church?" I asked Betty when she came to grab more glasses. "Club meeting. They call it church because it's sacred time where business gets discussed and decisions get made. Only patched members are allowed inside but we have to stay until it's done in case they need anything." "How long does it usually last?" "Depends on what they're dealing with. Sometimes an hour, sometimes all night." She lowered her voice. "Just stay out of the way and keep quiet. These meetings can get heated and you don't want to be noticed when tempers are running high."
