Sitting down comfortably on my bed was the moon lady. I became light-headed and with a scream, landed on the floor with a loud thud, feeling so much pain coursing through me. "What do you want?" I whimpered. "I'm sorry for what just happened. Please, Ghostwriter, I need your help." "What!" My heartbeat hastened. "Please calm down. I know you must have questions about what killed me and how I knew I was gonna die." "Please leave me alone," I retorted, pulling the sheet to cover myself.

Marcus, the quiet guy from accounting leaned against the door, arms crossed, with a bitter smirk twisting his lips. “McAllen,” he said. “You’ve been looking real happy lately. I see you enjoy your late night with the boss.” My stomach dropped. “What the hell are you talking about?” He stepped closer, I could see the jealousy in his eyes. “ I saw you leaving the private elevator. Looking like a man whose ass has taken some cock. You’re not the first, you know. The Ghost destroys anyone who tries to get close. You’re just the latest toy.” “The Ghost?” I laughed it off, but my voice sounded shaky even to me. “Sounds like some movie legend bullshit.”

This was the space she was going to become unstoppable in. Suddenly two maids stepped in silent as ghosts, dropping glasses of juice in front of them, bowing and stepping out without a word. It felt eerie. Scarlet didn’t touch the cup yet. She just stared at the liquid like it might contain someone’s heartbeat. Across the staircase ... upstairs ... Kael's pov I close my eyes as Ghost pushes against my skull hard enough to split the bone. The pressure rolls through me in waves, each one darker than the last. Images slam into my mind one after another. Torn limbs……Crushed bodies…….Blood sprayed across the floor. Ghost shows me all of it, a promise of what he plans to do. “I will bathe in that wolf’s blood whether you like it or not”, he snarls. My teeth grind. “Then you’ll condemn us both to death.”

Thorne solemnly cautioned Samuel, "The ghost that can be summoned is not an ordinary ghost. However, every ghost has a fatal weakness, which is its skeleton and ashes. Once they are destroyed or scattered, the ghost may face utter destruction." Upon hearing this, Samuel carefully tucked the finger bone into his pocket. CHASE *** Two Months Ago *** I saw a ghost today. The ghost of someone who was supposed to be dead but was suddenly very much alive, standing across from me on the battlefield. Even after so many years, I’d recognize her anywhere. She was my mother, after all. I watched as her eyes flashed in recognition, the realization of who I was coming to her. Then those same eyes went cold, because even though she knew, she evidently didn’t care. We were on opposing sides of a war and in that moment, I wasn’t her son. I was merely another enemy to eliminate.

Scar’s weak, terrified voice echoed from the darkness. Ghost’s heart sank. “Scar...” Scar blinked, eyes widening in disbelief. “Gh... Ghost...” Ghost rushed to the cage, pulling at the gate. “Even the devil can’t catch me.” “Oh my God! It’s really you, Ghost!” Scar rambled in disbelief. “You’re here! You’re alive! Those bastards couldn’t get to you.” Ghost grinned widely, continuing to fumble with the gate. “The key, the key is with the ugly...”

Hazel was startled awake, her whole body trembling. She opened her eyes and saw a dark shadow by her bed. She also heard the sound of dripping water, faint but not enough to make her heart race. Outside, the rain was pouring down, the streetlights dimmer than usual, and wind howling loudly. She shuddered and clutched her blanket tightly, screaming, "Ah! Ghost!" Jack was taken aback by Hazel's reaction, then overwhelmed with anger. Ghost? His handsome face twisted slightly, and he cracked his knuckles.

I whisper, scanning for any sign of movement. Ghost stops abruptly, shaking his head, his jaw tightening. “They didn’t forget,” he says, his voice cold and hard. “They’ve got what they needed, and they’ve run.” His words send a chill down my spine as he storms down the hall, swinging doors open and scanning each room, searching desperately for the way out.

In the moonlight, a woman in a white lace dress was kneeling on the stone steps of the chapel, her face buried in her hands, her shoulders trembling. She had no feet. Below her dress, there was only a swirling black mist. "I see her." Lorenzo let out a low whistle. "Two years ago, Marco put her in the ground right there. Her ashes are buried under the rose bushes behind the chapel." I didn't stop, walking straight toward the chapel. Giovanni froze behind me but didn't dare to call out. As I reached the bottom of the steps, the female ghost's head snapped up. She lunged at me, her face a sickly pale green, her eye sockets empty black pits.
