“Please he…” I hadn’t finished my words when I saw a head flying right into my eyes. Blood spurted on my face. In slow motion, Hogan beheaded a man. The lifeless head flew, crossing the moon. I followed it with my widened eyes. When the head hit the ground, the bubble of time popped. Sounds came back. The two rogues swiftly left me and wolfed out. They encircled Hogan, glaring at him with their fierce eyes, and growling ferociously.

The Ghoul giggled until the gurgle of death and a fountain of blood was all that was left to be heard or seen. But......in victory there was also death. One overzealous female leopard, with fur covered in large white and grey and silver splotches, naming her a clouded leopard tripped up and got to close to the dying Ghouls snapping, giggling maw. In the blink of an eye, fangs had latched into her back leg. Blood and black spit flowed down her fur and paw as the horrible sound of crunching bone and pained growls lit the chaotic air.

Something they didn't explain to Abi was that, the catacomb was filled with deadly beasts which used the form of the littered bones to attack and that alone made them immortal. Ghost grins, then he disappears in the blink of an eye and I don’t even have to look behind me to know he’s ripped more sniper heads off.
