Scottie tries to pull free, calculating even now, but she locks onto him, then Theo, arms wrapping around both of them with brutal strength.
“Now,” she shouts, voice ringing through the collapsing chamber. “Do it now.”
The facility answers her.
The hum deepens into a violent howl. The air twists, folding in on itself. Gravity stutters, yanking at my body like it cannot decide which direction is down.
“Kaye,” I shout, terror ripping through the bond. “Stop. Please.”
She does not stop.
She turns fully toward the anchor, toward the heart of the pocket dimension, and raises her hands.
