After a few seconds, Elder Goulding spurted out a mouthful of blood. Subsequently, Elder Goulding was sent more than ten meters backward. Nevertheless, his eyes were locked on Biggy and Scarlet like magnets.

The ghost looked at me with pleading eyes. "Those are talismans of Gong tau," Miyako whispered; Chinese black magic. "Those are finger bones," the friendless one added. Smashing them seemed like the sane thing to do. Pamela wouldn't have liked that excuse. I held up each trinket before the ghost. The first one - nothing. The second one - pleading. I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it!
