"There's no way I was the only one seeing ghosts!" Tang and Sawyer, who'd clearly been eavesdropping, finally spoke up. "Ghosts?" Sawyer asked, his voice low and serious. "What ghosts?" Tang, who had been leaning against the wall like nothing could bother him, suddenly perked up. "Wait. Ghosts? Are we talking European phantoms? Japanese yūrei? Or like, vengeful brides in white?" His eyes lit up like he'd just found a whole new season of his favorite horror show.

The ghostly figure moves closer and floats right up to her face. She can then feel it go through her body and out the other side, which makes Sunny feel like she is being shocked. Just as she feels zapping through her, the ghostly figure vanishes into thin air, leaving Sunny breathless and filled with a mix of fear. The whispering in the room then came to a stop. Pure silence engulfed the room, amplifying Sunny's racing heartbeat. She sat frozen.

The mythical creature that haunted my thoughts and dreams. "Sloane?" My uncle Fred signalled me to continue but I was too frozen to do so.

Neo’s POV Sitting at my desk, my mind is consumed by the image of Skyler, completely engulfed in those Scarabs she fondly referred to. It's astonishing how she fearlessly caressed them, treating them as harmless creatures, before they obediently scurried away from her and disappeared into the earth. It's as if they hold no threat, no potential for danger or death. This scene continues to play in my mind, leaving me both fascinated and perplexed by Skyler's unwavering trust in these seemingly treacherous insects.
