I am glad Hailey is tryna find her mother. This story was me as a teenager. growing up in a broken home with very poor parentally upbringing, No proper guidance whatsoever can really destroy someone. Hope it never goes bad for her.

Ghost Love

Ghost Love

Adam lamented. “I’m just wondering if maybe we should get him inside and bolt the door. This might not be the safest place for him after all. She’s getting a might closer and some of those zombie spirits look like they’re coming back to life in a not too friendly way.” He studied the spirits who were once so animated but were now acting dazed and confused. A few of them were losing that dazed look. It was being replaced by one of intelligence and… Anger? Hate? He couldn’t tell.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

asked Elder Maxim coldly as he looked at Elder Ethan. “What I want to say… is that it’s really simple. From the very beginning, the Land of Ghosts was a cursed place. Even a fighter that is an Agility of level nine wouldn’t be able to get out of this place should they come here. The black magic mist carried within it a terrifying power and the devilish energy here is enough to make even us uncomfortable. So how is it possible for a kid with the level of Agility of level two to enter such a place?” Elder Ethan’s expression became even more sinister as he said all this.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

The Gift and the Ghoul

The Gift and the Ghoul

I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it! The lock and the paper figure work together, and since you've touched the lock, the effect on you is stronger. Luckily, you found it early.” I broke out in a cold sweat. That same day, I slipped the paper figure under Miles’ pillow and instructed my parents to watch him while he slept.

Entwined Fates

Entwined Fates

A loud gasp escaped my lips when I saw it. It was a ghost. A teenage girl who looked no older than fifteen. She had wavy blonde hair and dull green eyes. There was a horrible wound on her chest. Someone had ripped her heart out of her chest. Now, her chest was more or less, a gaping hole. Tears pricked my eyes at the sight of the girl. I'm a necromancer and it's normal for me to be able to see ghosts and spirits but it's been quite a while since I saw one.

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

Ghost is a dark fae, which means he’s greedy, likes death, and likes pretty women with spunk. His short white hair is spiked. Ghost wears a black sleeveless hoodie and black and white checkered jeans with black boots. His eyebrows, nose, and lips are all pierced with gages in both ears. His pointed ears give him away that he is fae. Ghost has all black eyes, much like one would think a demons would be if they were real. Some things are just stories made up of distorted truths. Demons and angels fall into that category. Ghost's pasty white skin almost glows under the glow of the flashing lights.

The Ghost of Lost Love

The Ghost of Lost Love

"Belle is dead, but you're the one who's guilty. You fell for her, didn't you? You didn't even realize it, but you loved her." I listened to their exchange, and it all seemed like some sick joke. Grayson loving me? That was the most absurd thing I had ever heard. Grayson locked Alice and kept her starved for three days, only giving her water to keep her alive. I found the whole thing too ridiculous. Late regrets and empty affection were worth less than dirt. While I was still alive, he treated me like garbage, and now, dead as I was, it felt like this charade was put on for the benefit of ghosts.

Though she is eight hundred years old, she’s still so young compared to other people here. This is a luxurious and noble space, full of sparkling things. Supernatural Academy Series

A strange expression hits his face, but I can't read it as his image is like Kiarr's where it's a pale, blue color and partially see-through. "What?" "Our magic was amplified with..." There is that look again. "Just say it." "Sex magic." I open my mouth, but no sound comes out. Sure, I'd had sex before but picturing me doing so with a ghost is weird, yet exciting. Not to mention he is a century older than me. Never thought at nearly nineteen that I would add sex with a ghost to my repertoire. And no, I'm not going to say that making out with one-okay, two even at different times-counts as having sex.

The Hybrids Fated Mate

The Hybrids Fated Mate

“Next there will be fairies and goblins living among us!” I don’t respond, Most don’t like to hear the truth of how many other creatures there are out in the world. As far as most were concerned. There were Humans, Wolves, Lycans and a few witches and vampires dotted around. Anything else just seemed impossible. “So are you going to tell me how old you are?” She had to be close to turning eighteen. “I know you are not eighteen otherwise you would have healed a lot faster.” “Seventeen.” She mutters through gritted teeth. Like she was embarrassed by it.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ghost stories anime, officially known as 'Gakkou no Kaidan' or 'Ghost Stories', is a wild ride that blends horror and comedy in a way that's pretty unique. The original Japanese version is aimed at kids, probably around the 7-12 age range, with a TV-Y7-FV rating in the US—meaning it's suitable for children but has some fantasy violence. But here's the twist: the English dub is a whole different beast. It's infamous for its adult humor, sarcastic commentary, and borderline inappropriate jokes, which were added because the localization team had free rein to rewrite the script. That version leans more toward a PG-13 or even R rating due to language and mature themes.

Honestly, whether it's appropriate depends on which version you're watching. The Japanese original is tame enough for younger audiences, while the English dub is something you'd watch with older teens or adults for laughs. It's a fascinating case of how localization can completely change a show's tone and target demographic. I still crack up thinking about some of the dub's absurd one-liners.
