He had a note in his hand and a smile on his face, awaiting me to order up. "Not yet. I'm waiting for someone" I said sharply. He turned on his heels and retreated from whence he came. I glared at my phone, somehow praying that it rings because I really need to talk to Kay right now. Or even Corby. I'm feeling just a bit anxious. The door to the restaurant finally slid open again and a tall brunette with long curls stepped in. I would've mistaken her for a model but I know she's got to be the PA, Corby spoke of. She even has on a Gucci sandal and that unmistakable designer smile.

In all my years as a secretary, I’ve never seen anything like this. I smile as I watch Henry talk animatedly with a petite woman. She looks up, catches my gaze and edges closer to me. “I’m Patty,” she introduces herself. She looks to be in her thirties. “Enjoying yourself?” I smile bashfully, “Yeah. It’s nice that you guys take out time to do this everyday.” She laughs, “We don’t do this everyday. We do this when someone new comes along. You know…as a way of saying welcome.”

"Jimmy, you lost me at 'robot.' Just tell us—does it shoot lasers or something cool?" Jimmy rolled his eyes but grinned. "No lasers, unfortunately, but it’s going to blow people's minds; just wait." I smiled as I half-listened, picking at my lunch while Patty twirled a lock of her hair. We were comfortable, safe in our little bubble of nerdy conversations and inside jokes. And then, as if summoned by some unspoken rule of high school misery, Patty suddenly froze mid-sentence. Her eyes darted to something over my shoulder, and her face twisted in dread.

Aaaaand there was that blush I had aimed for. "Hades? Son, is that you ?" There stood Patty short for Patricia, looking as if she was about to cry. I sighed and went to her, hugging her tightly. She is a sweet old lady who was running this diner with her husband Mark. I've known them since I was a child and since they didn't have any children, they considered me as their own. I couldn't enter a marriage when I didn't even have time to take breakfast most days. Taking the ring off my finger, I rested my head against the seat and closed my eyes. Before any sleep could overpower me, someone knocked on the door. "Yes?" I asked Stav. "There is someone here to meet you. Patty Dancel," he said. Hearing the name of one of the very few friends I had left, I asked him to send her in. A few minutes later, Patty entered the room and her presence instantly brought her weird energy. Big eyes, flawless pale skin, fiery red hair. Patty was a gorgeous sight to look at. But the minute she opened her loud mouth, one couldn't help but look for some noise cancelling headphones.

Pascal frowned and wondered if this was the doing of Ghost. Despite the eerie presence of the ghost, Pascal pressed on, determined to find Katie. He briskly walked around, taking deep breaths to catch her scent. Suddenly, a blood-curdling scream pierced through the air, causing him to stop in his tracks. "Help!" the voice cried out. Pascal's heart raced as he tried to locate the source of the distress call.

It was the kind of glass door where it was only transparent on one side and I was guessing that it was from the inside. We walked into the room and who I saw caused my breath to hitch. It was Patty! She was not even paying attention, she was sitting on a couch and had a laptop on her lap. “Um, hi?” I tried to get her attention. My voice was small and comical. She looked up at me at the same time that the door of the office was closed. A surprised look covered her face and she could not believe her eyes. “Heather? What are you doing here?” She asked sweetly as she placed the laptop down on the couch and stood up.

He shook out his hand, looking up at me with sharp eyes, the color of coffee with just a hint of cream. Brown eyes similar to Patti's. "Are you alright?" He asked, his voice low and just a little raspy. "I- yes, thank you." I stuttered out, feeling my face warm. "We're... maybe a little shaken up and oh goddess." "He's your boss?" he asked. "Yes... he used to be." I looked at my boss, who had passed out on the ground, knowing that this job was done for. Patti had a rare condition which made transforming into her human form very difficult. She hadn't been able to transform into her human form at all until after she turned three. She was weak, and transforming sapped her limited energy.

I am 5ft 3inch, and curvy. I am beautiful, with 3C natural medium black curly hair that compliments my fair skin perfectly. "Alaister do you believe in ghosts?" I asked Alaister, now that she was lying down in our bed. "Did you watch a horror movie last night? Then I would say that there are no ghosts and I do not believe in ghosts." Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that.
