I growled lowly in frustration and lowered the phone from my ear when it ended without her answering. It was the second day and she's still ghosting me. Even at work today, Chloe never said anything to me but rather, avoided my every presence! She was giving me the silent treatment which is undoubtedly beginning to take a toll on me. It is highly unlikely that I will ever see him again; I can safely say that he has ghosted me. My mood has changed just because his name was brought up; I'm fascinated with him, even though I know I should have moved on by now. I pull up his texts on my phone and go through them. I have been attempting to determine what caused him to terminate their communication, and I have been looking for hints as to what led him to come to that conclusion. I'm in such a drunken haze that I manage to send him a text message, but thank God I'm not so intoxicated that I really send it.

But that annoying mate of mine just had to crush my hopes of seeing her into dust. I wondered why he had to refuse, then walked to the dressing table and picked up my phone. I went online on W******p to see that she was online at the moment, I sent her dozens of texts and she read them but didn't reply or even try to. I tried calling her over and over again, but she didn't pick up; it seemed like she was ghosting me now. I angrily dropped my phone on the bed and sat there holding in all the anger, pain, and emotions that came back to me all at once.

Without a second thought, I typed out a message to Ghost, my fingers tapping fast against the screen.
