"Did I mention we have Eight-ball? Yeah, tuned up his own car with a jack iron, of all things. He's not very happy with Kool-Aid - Lasses Brigitta, or whatever the hell her name is... So you just tell those friendly ghosts and those freaking pansies o' yours that we're watching!" Casper's anger flared as he gritted his teeth with a smile, peering at me with hatred in his eyes. He made a move forward but I stopped him with a finger in his chest, unsnapping the retention strap on my holster. "We don't have a problem here, do we... Casper?" Keegs was now at the foot of the stairs calling me to leave. I wasn't finished yet.

He said while moving towards me , i started moving backwards because i didn't want him to get too close to me. "What do you want from me ?" I asked. "Wow nice question, i just want to replace you" he said and then he disappeared, i looked around but i didn't see him, i remembered that Mr Franklin said he was a ghost. "But why me?" I asked, although he was not visible but i knew he was around. "Because i am you" he said and appeared in my back. "I swear to God i will shut you off" i said in anger. "Are you crazy , you can't kill a ghost boy!" He yelled and laughed.

The doctor leaves and closes the white door behind him. I’m now alone with Wesley. I look around the room. It’s so bland. The only thing that makes this room alive a bit is the painting on top of the door. It’s a painting of Spongebob and Patrick. Everything else is just white or gray, with small dots of color on random objects. The room spells like medicine. “Spill.” Wesley says. Oh, the curse. “Yeah, he’s a ghost and he has a curse on him. It is meant to keep him alone for the rest of his life. Which is a long time, considering he’s a ghost.” I say.

Nathan kicked Jackson off of him and hissed. "You'll pay for that.." his gaze slowly turned to me, I stared at him, fear trembling through my every being. This was no human. This was a monster...a demon. "Kasey...!! Run!!!" I broke from my horror and glanced at Jackson before scrambling back. I was stopped short when I hit a barrier. I looked at the empty hall and slowly touched the invisible cage around me. Nathan laughed, his voice morphing into a deep voice.

Even though he quickly decided against it, Ezekiel had also worked with Philip long enough to read through him. "What?" Ezekiel called out. Philip looked over his shoulder and smiled, shaking his head as he did. "Nothing, sir. I hope the morning goes well." He left. Ezekiel sat alone in the large office, staring at the Hartwell contract on his screen but his mind was somewhere else. He picked up his phone, clicked on the notification coming from Jerry's channel that showed the behind the scene of his ongoing work. He was asking the actors and actresses funny questions to which they played along. When he got to Vespera, she was asked which cartoon character she really loved and she replied: "

Elowen screamed, then looked around wildly, her voice trembling as she muttered, "Ms. Ghost, if you’re still safe, respond to me…" She waited and waited, but the familiar cold presence never returned. Her heart felt as if it had plunged straight into an abyss. Her body went limp, sliding down until she collapsed onto the floor. Lucien saw her reaction and immediately knew that the ghost had truly disappeared. He burst into loud laughter, cold and hollow, like a wraith crawling up from hell. He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "See that? Your lover was sent to hell by your own hands. This is all because of you."

Instead I watched the dark mass fold into light and scatter, slipping into vents, into broken glass, under floor grates. For a breath it looked like nothing and then it was gone. The room felt emptier in the silence it left. Bits of shadow ran into cracks and under beds. I could not see where it went but I knew it had not left in any real sense. Jon Tulip was everywhere it promised he had been. And then, as if the world had been waiting for the next heartbeat, Carly stopped convulsing.

I sighed and prepared to microwave a box of macaroni and cheese. But when I turned around, I spotted a note pressed under something on the table. It was in Nathaniel’s familiar handwriting, though this time, his note held a hint of cold anger. [Wasteful.] I was stunned for a moment before I burst out laughing. This ghost was not just a good cook, but he was also thrifty and responsible. I liked that. I immediately picked up a pen and wrote back. [My bad, Nat. It’s just a joke. Let’s just stick to homemade food from now on. I won’t bring up that extravagant nonsense again, okay?]

He was just staring at my ghostly form charging towards him with a knife in my hand.
