Everything was a mess! The man immediately turned his face at the little boy. His face darkened. "Tell me, Little Veen, how did I frighten her? I was merely showing her the memories of my real appearance but, I do not understand why she was so frightened and kept denying my existence even in her sleep." He said in dissatisfaction that reflected on his handsome face. The little boy called Veen coughed softly in a polite manner. "Your appearance now is similar to those of what humans called a ghost. You have not fully recovered your body yet, so you cannot do anything. Just let her be for now."

“It looks like we are both dead and trapped in the afterlife. Those bastard vampires did indeed kill us, and you were unable to heal me. They must have dealt me the final blow, as we are now in this strange place.” “This isn’t the afterlife,” Ghost clarified, and my face brightened. If this wasn’t the afterlife, we weren’t dead. I believed there is a glimmer of hope. “If this isn’t the afterlife, then where are we?” I asked. “We are inside of you.” “What?!”

Mine followed me everywhere—brushing against me when I closed my eyes, sitting silently in rooms where no sound belonged, whispering when the world fell quiet. My sister had been gone for years, yet tonight, in the hushed corridors of Agyis Hotel, it felt as if she had just slipped from the room and might return at any second.

Not yet. But I stood close enough to hear her breathing. To feel the ache in her bones match the ache in mine. We stayed like that for a long time. Not enemies. Not family. Just two ghosts in velvet, finally seeing each other through the cracks.

It was a Psychological-Horror landscape—the sanctuary had become a gallery of Elara’s maternal trauma. "Elara, stay back," Kazimir warned, drawing his Glitch-Blade. The flickering edge hissed as it moved through the air, sensing the Corrupted-Code of the ghosts. "The garden is dying, Elara," the ghosts whispered in unison, a hundred different voices creating a Polychromatic Chorus that shook the ground. "The General is gone, but the shards remain. We are the 'Infection' you can never delete." One of the ghosts—the one in the lab coat—walked toward Elara. She didn't have feet; she drifted across the grass, the moss turning to gray ash beneath her. She stopped inches from Elara’s face.

"But how do you know what happened with us " "I know , it was a trap " "Trap ?" Ava asked ."They are our friends " I replied angrily . "They are not your friends . They were trap to kill you" "But who wants to kill us " "Go and read that book .You will get all answers ." They stood in silence for a while before Ryder broke it, “Does this place awaken any memories?” Ghost glanced in his direction, of course, it did. When he had first woken up with a banging headache and a blurry memory of what happened the last few hours. He had felt a strong pull toward the place. Of course, then he didn’t know where it was until he arrived here, “Am I supposed to remember this place?” He asked instead. He smiled, it was a small smile of triumph. He desperately needed Ghost to remember and up until now, he was yet to admit that he remembered anything. This was a small step in the right direction, “We used to come here together as kids, you and I...”

My 'disputed' abilities were all post-college employment, thank you very much. Did the ghosts possess me/tell me to do things? I was not possessed and, discounting sexual bondage and my current work venue, had never been possessed. From my limited exposure, ghosts wanted to not be alone in the afterlife – to be guided to a final resting place with others of their kind/family/friends. None had taught me languages, asked me to steal something, or kill anyone.

We weren’t just fighting Nolan anymore. We were fighting every ghost we tried to leave behind. And this time? We’d burn it all down together. Together forever that's the real deal we gat to do this together.
