Gideon Book Novels & Stories

Silence lingered between them. The rest of the flight was quiet as Kevin sat in another seat at the back busy signing documents and discussing business matters while Emma read a book and intermittently looked out the window watching the scenery below and sometimes stealing a glance back at him and caught him looking at her. After an hour, Kevin walked to her, checking on her as she drifted off to sleep. The leather-bound book she was reading lay open on her lap, the words written on its open page clearly visible; “If I know what love is, it is because of you!" Kevin smiled and then put the book aside. There was no lie in it.

“You’re the one they’ve been talking about. The girl who showed up out of nowhere.” “Yes,” I said, meeting his gaze steadily. “And I need answers. Victor left clues about something—something he trusted you to protect.” Gideon studied me for a long moment before nodding. “Come in. But if this is a trap, you’ll regret it.” --- Inside Gideon’s World The apartment was sparse but meticulously organized, with shelves of books and documents neatly stacked. A single photograph on the mantel caught my eye—a younger Victor and Gideon standing side by side, their expressions serious.

Suddenly, Glory, who was walking in the front stopped. "Prince, there's something up ahead," Glory said in a very low voice. "We have to hide immediately," Prince Xander replied, then took Gideon's hand. The three of them looked for a place to hide. Not far ahead there was a flame of fire. "Uncle, there are people there, I see there are nine people there," said Gideon. "It's so dark there. How can you see it in the dark?" Prince Xander asked Gideon. "Uncle, I can see anything in the dark. I can even see ants crawling near the ears of the man making the fire," Gideon replied in a whisper. Prince Xander and Glory were quite surprised to hear Gideon's confession. "Gideon, will you help us?" Pri

“Insulting me is not a good way to begin.” Joseph’s eyes went wide with concern as he quickly said, “It was not his intention, I assure you. It’s just that he thought that since Ingrid and I are, well… you know, that you might be more accepting of me. After all, we are not unaware of your opinion of us.”

Quickly returning back to the room, I rummaged through the drawer for a book and a pen. ‘Cassian, there’s something you really need to know. Gideon is not who you think he is—Darth had stolen his body; Gideon never made it back from the desert. The enchanted bracelets prevent me from telling you the truth and he’ll know if I take it off. You cannot trust him!’ I placed the pen down to go through what I’ve written and my heart instantly fell into my stomach when I stared at the gibberish on the page. None of this was what I’d intended to write and yet, the words had turned into… this.

THE heavens never spoke in whispers. They roared. Kael knelt at the edge of the celestial dais, his skin stripped of its golden glow, blackened now with the mark of divine betrayal. The air around him shimmered with judgment, each breath thick with the rancid stench of mortality. Above him, the gods loomed, their faces carved from the cold light of eternity. Their eyes held neither pity nor forgiveness—only a cruelty as infinite as the stars. “You, the god of storms, who once commanded the skies,” boomed the All-Father, his voice rattling the cosmos, “have desecrated the sacred laws. You dared to love what is beneath us. A mortal. A fleeting ember among our eternal flame.”

“Let me see the journal.” Isla pulled the leather-bound book from her bag and handed it to him. Gideon opened it carefully, his fingers tracing the faded script and strange symbols on the pages. His eyes narrowed as he read, and for a long time, the room was filled with nothing but the sound of crackling fire. “This is old,” Gideon murmured, more to himself than to them. “Older than the Crescent Moon pack itself.” “Can you read it?” Isla asked, her voice laced with hope and frustration.

Gideon looked at me as if I betrayed him. "Love! What the hell? Of all the people you can ask you chose him?!" Gideon whined. "Rosen-Hower is Jeaalouusss! Blake 1, James fucking 0" Blake even lifts up the 4 pages that he printed a while ago. Gideon walk to Blake's desk to see what subject and exclaimed. "English lit? Love he failed English lit. He doesn't even know the difference between You, Your and You're!"

Dear Readers, It's been a long journey, eight years in the making ( since long before I brought Knowing Jude to Goodnovel). What was supposed to be a single teen fiction book turned into a trilogy that followed our characters into adulthood. I'm so grateful that you've stuck with Jo and Jude to the end. I'm deeply sorry to those of you who've read this story along with me while I wrote it. At times, I subjected you to long waits for updates. I'm even more grateful that despite that, you kept coming back.

Even Benjamin seemed to be in much better spirits. Sometimes he would tease me in private. "I was honestly afraid he'd talk you into taking him back." Then, one day, I got an unexpected phone call. Gideon's personal assistant told me that Gideon had killed someone and turned himself in to the police. He was facing decades in prison. His only request was to speak with me one last time. After a long hesitation, I called him. His voice over the phone sounded calm. There was no trace of madness in it.
