The glow remained red, steady and calm.
Relief slammed through my chest. Just worry. Just exhaustion. Just the sickness of grief and stress. I exhaled a trembling breath, my shoulders sagging-

At first faint, so faint I thought my eyes deceived me. A thread of green flickering beneath the red, barely noticeable.
