It was the armored lady now in cloak, holding her gothic war hammer while looking around walking along side with her was a figure with two glittering eyes. “We followed the harsh sound to here. Where is the speedster? This time I’m crushing his two legs then his head with my gothic war hammer, where is he?!” She gritted her teeth together. "Can you walk?" The figure with two glittering eyes asked, feeling concerned. All of a sudden in a fleck the sky lit up in orange sparkles as the fog slowly disappears. Three of them both stared to the direction of the light. “What the…?! It's the retreating signal." The lady holding the gothic war hammer blinked.

But then the walls quivered, the mirror rattled, and the entire room shook violently. I stumbled forward, almost landing face-first on the floor. “What the fuck!” I gasped, gripping the edge of the dresser. And then I saw a spot in the center of the room begin to glow, faint at first, then brighter, until it pulsed like a heartbeat of pure light. The glow stretched upward, twisting into a shimmer that bent the air itself. My breath froze in my lungs. And out of the light Professor Celeste appeared. Her figure unfolded gracefully from the glow, like she belonged to it.

My body was frozen, my very soul, it seemed, was frozen. A glow of blue light was flickering behind him, very gentle at first, then becoming more intense till I needed to cover my face to protect my eyes. The radiance was almost blinding, almost divine, but the emotion it produced was not sacred. It was bad, heavy, and dark, crawling like smoke on my skin. Then there came some figure from the glow. A woman, with her long tresses streaming like molten fire, and lips as smirking as steel-cutting.

Each one glowed faintly, eyes closed, as if asleep. “Maya…” “You started the reactivation,” she whispered. “You called them back.” “I didn’t mean to!” “It doesn’t matter now. It’s begun.” The air thrummed louder. The figures twitched, turning toward him — eyes snapping open all at once, golden light pouring from within them. Adrian stumbled back, breath catching. “What’s happening to them?” “They’re not human anymore.” One of the figures stepped forward. Its movements were smooth, fluid — too fluid. Its face shimmered, shifting through countless identities like static.

I add. “What does this glow look like?” Rye asked. “Devon and Nate glow a bright iridescent silvery colour. Kaleb glows a bright darker blue colour and Reece glows a bright darker green colour. I also notice a darker blue halo around Kyalni and a darker green halo around Mykenzie. The halo seems to follow them. Nymyra also has a bright silver glow to her.” I answer. No one says anything, and I have a feeling they think I am crazy. I see Rye look at Chris, and I can tell they are communicating without words. None of the three women seemed to be phased by this. It’s like they already know.
