The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

“Help me, Zelda!” “Sorry,” I mumbled, climbing on a box of my own and started banging. I had no idea where Finn was, but I didn’t have time to dwell on it. I felt relief as the ceiling pushed up. “Here, Penn!” I shoved the door open completely and climbed through it. I was ready to jump back down there after seeing what was happening on the deck. Blue ghosts were floating around and laughing maniacally. We ran around to the front of the ship, ducking and diving various phantoms.

I love this book so much. I’m glad I was a beta reader because it’s even better than when I first read it. I love the dynamic between Zelda and her family/people - as well as her dynamic with Penn and Hunter. I can’t wait to keep reading!!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

At the border of the South China Sea. The green ships surrounded the white ship. Green Bunny jumped aboard the white ship and stopped behind Shadow. Tenth; Shadow’s people under Hidden and White Bunny were also standing behind her. Shadow was seen smiling after talking with the other person on the phone. His countenance was slightly better than this morning. “Your Holiness.” Green called out toward Shadow as the representative of the green ships. He could see the ocean that Shadow was currently looking at. There were corpses of the beastmen floating up next to the debris.

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

"Pleasure to see you, Young Master Darby and Young Miss Darby." "Watson." Ambrose looked at him quietly. "I heard that there is a giant shark behind our fleet. Did you go check it out by yourself? What's going on?" "Oh..." Watson scratched his head and said, "I saw it, but it was only a shark. There is no threat, and it has already swam far away."

If The Crown Fits

If The Crown Fits

"What are you screaming for? Did you-" I cut him off as I pointed at the end of the hallway where the ghost still stands. "A ghost!" Nate followed his gaze to where I was pointing. His brow creased in wonder and turned back to me with his eyebrow raised. "There's nothing there." He says. "There is. There is!" I insisted as I saw the ghost still standing there. Custard yipped and started running towards it. "Custard, no! Do not follow it. I will not be like those dumb idiots who follows a ghost as dies first!" I yelled, but my familiar did not listen. I sighed. "Oh well. Custard, I will miss you." I whispered sadly.

I love this book and I'm sad to see it end. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't write a few chapters between this one and the last one to cover so many questions I now have. I still recommend this book.

Overall, very good story line. I feel some of the characters have developed more than others throughout the storyline but I really enjoy the book. It’s a fun roller coaster. Would definitely read this book again. Can’t wait for the ending. 💛

Burn Loot

Burn Loot

As the group gathered, the moon cast long shadows over the water, their breaths heavy with heaves of exhaustion. The ghost led them through a maze of abandoned tunnels as they emerged in a secluded dockyard on the city's outskirts. The aftermath of their narrow escape left them battered but determined with fighting zeal. "I didn’t think I’d see you again." Dino turned to The Ghost, his former trainer, a man dipped in legend and mystery. "You always had a habit of attracting trouble, Dino. I felt you’d need a way out." The ghost smirked, his rugged face unreadable.

Ghost on the highway

Ghost on the highway

Every step tightened the pressure behind his sternum, pulling him deeper. “You always hated this place,” Vex’s voice echoed suddenly, smooth and amused. “Said it smelt like ghosts.” Riven stopped. The voice came from everywhere and nowhere—reverberating through tunnels, bleeding through walls. “Funny thing,” Vex continued. “Turns out ghosts don’t leave. They just change shape.” Riven’s jaw set. “Show yourself.” Laughter rippled through the dark. Lights flickered to life one by one, revealing a massive junction chamber ahead—old control panels, broken signal boards, and cables hanging like exposed veins.

 RISE OF THE LAST ALPHA

RISE OF THE LAST ALPHA

“Wouldn’t that make him run away if he’s here or something ?” “Ghosts don’t have ears, Syke,” Chloe laughed. “Don’t worry yourself about any of us getting caught.” “For the hundredth time, Chloe,” Syke grunted. “I’m not worried about us getting caught by any ghosts. Ghosts don’t exist but you know what exists? Robbers! Pilferers! And other werewolves that are after our head! For God’s sake, we should not be shouting in the middle of a graveyard.” “Yeah yeah I’ve heard you all right,” Chloe mocked. “I won’t shout anymore so don’t worry yourself okay?”

Paint My World Red

she muttered with annoyance as she told Katie. “I don’t like Myra, too,” our youngest daughter pouted her lips, sharing her emotions with her sister. Aya heaved a sigh, looking sadly at our children. “Red, this is harder than I thought. Scarlett coming back from the dead was easier to explain than her having Rosie and Emmet.” I pressed my lips, nodding at her. I opened my mouth, hoping to share my thoughts, but Blue suddenly blurted something we all didn’t expect. “I saw the guests the other day, and they’re watching Ghostbusters...” He moved his head closer to us. “Daddy, maybe we should call them and catch Scarlett because she’s terrifying at most times.”

I HAD ME A BOY

I HAD ME A BOY

Once Vic is by my side, we watch as the vehicle goes away, leaving behind a huge cloud of dust. "And... we're stuck in the middle of nowhere. Stupid ass driver, he couldn't even drive us there!" I complain and Vic chuckles. "What's funny?" I ask as I point the flashlight directly at his face. "All of this. We're in the middle of nowhere, on your birthday, trying to solve a mystery. We sound more like Scooby-Doo and his gang." I laugh at his statement. "True. Now let's get going. We don't know if there's some creepy animal out here watching us, waiting to have us for dinner," I say and point the flashlight in front of us to illuminate the way.
