Are you injured?” “Nay, husband.” She peeked out at him from the edge of the counterpane, “I used a trick my mother told me before she died.” “What trick is that?” “She told me that English men like a woman to bleed on the wedding night, but many lasses don’t, even if they have not been with a man. She told me that lasses put a leach in their channel for a bit a day or two before the wedding to make a weak spot so coupling will shed some blood. I couldn't believe that a Goblin was nice but to each their own and continued feeding my baby that looked up at me with bright blue eyes.

Ava swung. The crowbar tore through the bride's veil, revealing not Aunt Lan but a skull packed with pearls. The pearls opened tiny eyes. It was a war dress; the female goblins were equal in strength to the male ones. The gold on her face and on her dress dazzled under the sun. Nio, as instructed the night before, standing in front of the pair, took Shieena by the hand, knelt down, and handed it to Ghtraht. It was a gesture of submission. The father or giver of the bride, in this case Nio, has shown that he gives his protégé to a stronger and more deserving goblin. But the whole show served another purpose

When her hair tumbled forward like a river of silk, there was no escaping it. The Scarlet Vampire pulled a player into her arms, and they surrendered completely, believing the NPC had fallen for them. Even after their blood was drained, a contented smile stayed on their face. Meanwhile, the Ghost Bride's presence was unmatched. With a single glance from her mournful eyes, players fell under her spell, willingly letting themselves be consumed by the ethereal folds of her white veil. Hikaru POV As I quietly crept down the path toward the noise, I heard it more clearly. It sounds like the laughter of many goblins over the cries of girls. The path then became a ledge that when further down, over the ledge was a huge open area filled with Goblins holding young girls down and raping them. (There are no female goblins, they reproduce by catching and raping women.) Damn! There's a lot of them! But I better hurry before those girls are mentally broken. Suddenly a familiar voice and figure came into the room.

Smiled. “Instead,” he said, stepping back, “I’ve asked someone else to be my bride.” My knees nearly gave way but I stood still, every cell in my body screaming. Out of the crowd, she stepped forward. Clarissa. My sister. Wearing my dress. "Liam," I breathed. "What are you doing?" He didn’t answer me. He extended his hand, to her. “Clarissa, love, come here.” And just like a rehearsed pageantry, she strode down the red carpet, a smile carved on her lips as she walked towards him, confident, calm and cruel.
