Gabriel POV Gabriel woke early, sipping on coffee in his kitchen and watching the sun rise over the red rocks in the distance. Where his section on the compound was, he could see nature for miles. He was pondering about the research notes he had taken for Lucy on nymph lore. Supposedly nymphs were fairies in a sense; a nature deity that had different personifications of different habitats. This here is Lucinda, your wolf spirit and healer. Finally, this is Silk, your sprite. She controls your vampire magic and is the form you’ve been adopting since you were 8.”

I smile and walk down the red carpet toward my throne. Walk up three steps and twirled around, hitting my cape for a climatic effect as I sat down, crossing a leg over the other.
