At least until the dwarves dug their tunnels and shafts trying to reach Zanestor's surface. Goblins were a rudimentary society. They were great hunters and their prey supplied them with everything they needed to survive. Meat for food, skins and furs for clothes, fat for lighting the darkness, bones for making tools ... And then came the dwarves. In their armours adorned with gold and precious stones, with their powerful machines and their dazzling lights, they were almost like gods. But the goblins knew nothing of gods, only of intruders trying to drive them out of their homes. The dwarves saw these scrawny haggard creatures as nothing more than wild beasts. And that's how they treated them

The goblins were feasting on the carcass of a bear, they tore into the bloodline flesh of the bear and didn't even care that the blood stained their own bodies, in fact they seemed to relish the feeling of the blood on their bodies. They walked ten minutes under there before they spotted a skinny, tattooed guy dressed like a punk with green hair. The guy ran as soon as he saw Joey. He didn’t get very far. Joey could run five times faster than any thug he ever chased. “Yo ... yo ... yo ... my man Sling ... where are you running to, buddy?” Joey hooked his arm around Sling’s neck. The green-haired guy turned pale. “Hey, Joey, I didn’t see you comin’ ... just hang ... you know?” he stuttered. “Come on ... let’s go somewhere private where we can talk.” Joey led him to a dark alleyway by one of the shops.

Now all I needed was to find the cave that the hid the portal. For what I remember of my first journey to Lilith’s cottage, the town was situated on the same shore of the lake that the cave was. Which meant that half my journey was already made easier, at least this time, I did not have a massive expanse of water to contend with. What I hadn’t anticipated was that as soon as I set foot out of the town and headed into the refuge of the darkened woods, was to be besieged by vampires. The crawled out of every crevice and shaded nook, surrounding me from all angles.

Metal was tougher than stone, and it did the trick. “Gogobogo,” the hobgoblin grunted as he crawled into the dark cave that smelled stale. The place was truly abandoned for a long time. Weaving a spell of fire, the shamans used their bent wands as torches and led the way, unaware of the stealthy footsteps at the cave entrance.

Diana deduced this must be where Cavin from the seventeenth century lost his eyes. The old man back there was blind. “What of the goblins, I thought they were gone for good. Why are they back?” Aya turned and pointed in the direction of the old exit small cavern, although they were invisible in the fog. “Has it been cleared too?” Aya added.

) I ran deeper into the cave while holding the staff again the cave wall until it lit up from all the fiction, creating a torch. " Stay back!!" (Flashback: I could still remember gasping for breath as I did my best to stay conscious as they... as those... Goblins took turns.) The screams came from my right. I stopped and started walking down the tunnel. (Flashback: I could remember myself choking as those... evil Goblin pushed it deeper down every hole I had.) "* Sinister * Where the Goblins at?" I laughed this time more powerful than I used to be, this time ready to kill every last one of them.

They all stood there hovering, the goblins who were at the front had seen this and stopped, but the ones behind who could not see only carried on walking forwards and this all lead to the wave of goblins to continue to advance. Taking a small deep breath, Noah released his earthen spikes. They all tore across the cave and smashed into the goblins cutting through the first few lines and sending many more flying away. He did not stop there though and quickly conjured up more and more. The spikes constantly screech through the air and tear through the screeching goblins.

“The captain wants to have a word with you. They need you to join the expedition to the Goblin Mountains. With you there, it’s going to be easier to find their cave.” I nod. Even without using my nose, I already know where the cave is. I wandered there a few times to steal their food during the winter season to give over to the pack. I could just easily point to the location on the map, but that would mean leaving myself out of the mission. I would rather go along with them to prove that I am willing to fight alongside them—also, the goblins can be very vicious in enclosed spaces. There’s no telling what sort of traps they would encounter. There will be werewolves in the group, but that woul
