Spartan then crashed into something that felt as hard as concrete. An Amarok roared at him, its triple jaws coming down at him. Spartan thrust up his right hand and sent a yellow bolt of lightning blasting away the brains of the creature. The god then materialized from the aftermath of the blast and grabbed Spartan by the neck. He heaved him up and looked him directly in the eye.
