God Tamer Hollow Knight Novels & Stories

Dust and smoke billowed into the room, carrying the sharp, metallic scent of high-grade explosives. Through the haze walked three figures. They weren't the standard mercenaries. These were taller, bulkier, their armor pulsing with a faint purple runic script. Morana’s elite. The Hollow Men. "Secure the package," the lead soldier said, his voice mechanical. He raised a weapon—a glowing staff that crackled with electricity. Kai burst through the hole in the wall a second later. He was bleeding from a gash on his arm and his chest plate was cracked, but he was still standing. He roared and tackled the lead soldier, driving him into the concrete floor.

the Paladin Commander yelled in shock. He fired his plasma rifle. Instead of a standard golden bolt, the weapon discharged a searing, sapphire streak of phased plasma. It struck a Null-Sentinel square in the chest. This time, the kinetic force wasn't absorbed. The Origin-Code ripped through the anti-matter geometry, shattering the entity into a million harmless pixels. "The Ghost gave us bullets!" Jax roared, swinging his gear-axe as the rain hissed against his leather cut. "Push them back into the void!"

The leader of the Village, known as Trenton, stepped forward as his gaze narrowed on Cyran and Kellan. “I don’t think we properly introduced ourselves the last time I was here. My name is Azura Chasm, I am mated to Cyran Chasm and the Keeper of the Dragon Stone. They are here because we need your help.” All eyes moved from Kellan in his Dragon form and Cyran as they landed on me with surprise. Feeling awkward, I shifted from one foot to the other. While also feeling as if I was experiencing every high schooler’s nightmare, standing in front of class naked.

His posture manifested his full-blooded body as he looked at the warriors in a calm manner. "I am Tera and I'm one of the Grand Knights of Casterfall. Today is the day your trainings and experiences will be tested," the grand knight said in a loud voice. "Warriors, prepare yourselves!" All of the warriors, including Arth, suddenly stood at attention while listening to the knight. "Ahead of this road is the Dark Woods," Tera pointed at the direction towards the tall and compressed trees. "You have to reach the end of these woods and climb to the mountain arena ahead."

The hybrid's arms fall to the ground with the shackles. "Nice try fucker!" I swing my blade a second time decapitating him. Reaper has shifted into his mortal form. He hands me one of the two semi automatic handguns he is holding. We take off running and shooting anything that isn't a dragon, hellhound or king of hell. I scream as I watch Gunner's huge dragon body hit the ground. The earth shakes under our feet. When I finally get to him; what's left of Bael's horde is trying to retreat.

People didn’t seem to recognize me by my look which was perfect for me, I just listened to their chats, I made friends, talking to them laughing when needed, saying the needed oh and ah. “Is there any bounty going around?” I ask with a smile. “A bounty hunter?” the guy I’m talking to asks, I just nod, I’ll go with that. “There’s one over any info about the pure bloods, another over the psycho hitman, his name is Devil I think. Strange name if you ask me” he says, mixing my gender with a he, I just smiled, if people think I’m a he, I might be safer than I thought I was.

Then, it bowed. But not in reverence. In recognition. “You carry the first ember,” it rasped, voice layered in static and decay. “The Hollow Flame. It calls to its kin.” Kael moved to shield her. Seren didn’t stop him. “What kin?” she asked. The rider lifted its face, and Seren saw no face at all. Just a burning hole, endless and screaming. “The dead gods,” it answered. Then it disintegrated into a pillar of smoke. Silence followed. Dense. Breathless.

The Harbinger tilted his head, a predator assessing another predator. “Perhaps I should test you before I carry your defiance back to them.” My eyes gleamed. “Try.” For three breaths, the clearing thrummed with power — golden heat colliding with silver-violet fire, the air warping between us. Leaves turned to ash midair. Then the Harbinger smiled — not in surrender, but as if he’d found an opponent worth remembering. “The gods will bleed first,” he said at last. “But if you falter, Hollow Queen — I will be the one to end you.”

Lariempi said emotionlessly “Lord please teach me how to kill them, even with my powers I could only watch…” Amelia said before breaking into tears again and Lariempi smiled slightly “You couldn’t kill them because your weapon was too inferior.” He said, he then raised his index finger and a drop of golden god-blood dropped from his finger and landed on the ground

His. And he, my blade-wielding fury, my war-forged shadow, he was mine. The storm had passed, but the fire between us still glowed, banked low but unextinguished. I rolled onto my side, fingers tracing the tattoo along his ribs, the one I'd never seen before now. An old glyph. The sigil of the Hollow. "What does it mean?" I asked softly. He glanced down, then smiled faintly. "It means rebirth."
