Rosemary- Lucifer’s Cursed Bride

Rosemary- Lucifer’s Cursed Bride

“I know you have many questions as do I. You gained my attention when one of my demons caught word that Enora the goddess of war was murdered by her latest prodigy. How exactly were you able to kill an immortal?” Enora being a goddess of war was a bit of a stretch to me. For one, I always pictured goddesses to be beautiful and she had more of a troll like appearance. If she were truly an immortal then she looked every bit of her age. Though I could not deny she was powerful and she displayed that in her control over me until she no longer had it.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

The dress she wore was brightly colored, with an array of patterns that seemed to move as she did. “I’m all about balance. You’ll find most of us are. Galen, my consort, is as much a part of me as I am of him. Chaos and Order will always go together. Both must be preserved, or we’ll all perish.” Lina stepped up to the red-haired Goddess and gave her an appraising look. “So, Ulrich is the God of War, and this lady is the Goddess of Chaos. Who are you?” “May 16th, approximately 2:13 in the morning.”

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Possessing My Mate: The Silver Run Series

Possessing My Mate: The Silver Run Series

Not sure I fully believe what she is spouting. Looking back at her sister, she smirks. “Gumption, I like it.” Turning back to me, she rolls her eyes, “I really hate the insinuation that I cannot be all those women. I am the Goddess of War foremost, for Jupiter’s sake! Are you humans so daft to think the art of disguise and infiltration is not part of that?”

I’m only 15 chapters in and this story is so damn good! These characters seem wild and fun and I already like most of them. Especially, Nora. This story seems to be well written, so I can’t wait to get into all the drama and chaos that I know is coming.

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

What is the difference between Ares and Athena, who both represent war? In Greek mythology, there are several gods who represent war. For example, the goddess Athena symbolizes wisdom and war strategy. He is also often referred to as the protector of those who are at war. In contrast to the goddess Athena, Ares is a god who is very thirsty for bloodshed in war. He became a symbol of brutality and cruelty during the war. The nature of Ares who likes to see the slaughter of humans and the destruction of cities makes him very hated by the gods. Even his own father, Zeus, said that Ares was the most hated Olympian god.

What the Goddesses Lost

What the Goddesses Lost

No one dared to act rashly. It had been a long time since the Novem Skies had produced a new god of war. That was why things had ended up like this. Just as the situation fell into a stalemate, my wife and sister-in-law arrived. My wife was Nerissa Loden, and she was the goddess of water. My sister-in-law, Aurelia Ignis, was the goddess of fire. The moment I saw them, I subconsciously tightened my clenched fists, while Noctis' gaze turned icy.

Omega's Blessed Curse

Omega's Blessed Curse

Each war told a story of struggle, sacrifice, and the unwavering power of the Moon Goddess. The next war was simply called The War of Betrayal. The title alone sent a chill down my spine. It was a war that should never have happened, a war started by someone the Goddess once trusted. A great leader, once her most loyal warrior, had turned against her, leading an army of his own. The battle was fierce, and in the end, the traitor fell into the Goddess’s own hand. But the victory was bittersweet, many lives were lost, and trust was shattered forever.

ELDER'S BLOOD

ELDER'S BLOOD

“I may be in Gold, but I still hear about you slaying forty men, losing control in this war. You need to repent. You’re like death itself—and not in a way to be proud of.” I focus on my food. No wonder he’s already drinking. “Life is sacred,” she says. “You value the baby inside Elena, but dismiss the lives you take. Those souls belong to the Goddess.” “My soul is fine,” Vanda says. I glance up. “The Goddess says nothing against war. In fact, I’m doing great. I have an army, my mate, a child on the way. Revenge, too." Corrine sets down her silverware. “If you say so."

The Goddess Warrior

The Goddess Warrior

As both consolation and honor, the gods transformed Usha into the dawn, a light that would rise each day to chase away darkness and shadow. Yet the light of Usha was never merely symbolic. It was power itself, a force that could forge warriors and creatures of might. From her essence, the gods later shaped Durga, a goddess of war and justice, and imbued her with weapons of celestial power to strike down the demon whose malice threatened the balance of all life—human and magical alike.

SOLD TO THE CEO

So I personally decided to meet the troublemaker – Yolanda pauses – It was a girl. It takes me a few seconds to dive into it. I'm not surprised, but I admit that I hadn't thought of this possibility. So the person everyone thinks is as evil as me was a rich girl? – Minerva is the goddess of war, not a god – Yolanda smiles – Anyway, she assured me she could keep the police out of the Bronx in the wee hours. It was more than enough for me. - What's her name? - I can not tell. You know me, LeBlanc, I'm true to my agreements.

Bloodbound Destiny

And it didn’t make sense. “How can Freyja make me behave this way, Tristan?” I caught his stare, though it was hard to see in the shadows. “She’s the goddess of war.” “I don’t know.” His grasp on me intensified. Only a few legends speak about her, yet none disclose anything of her nature. I can tell you that with certainty because many attempted to discover everything about her when my mother foresaw the power you’d have.” Which meant I was at battle with someone I knew nothing about. Who no one living had ever met.

Andronika's story touches the heart! Torn between her duty to see to the comfort of her family and the need to seek her own happiness, she is thrust into danger: fight to the death with a godlike warrior. In the face of death, she took her destiny and in her hands and fought! This is a great story!
Orion Steele
I think author Lorene is charming. This is her first book am reading though, but the way she introduced the characters: Carspey, Andronika, Tristan, Derek, Orion—its all too fascinating. Am still reading, but Andronika already deserves my Oscar award for raising her weapons onto Tristan...
