Godly Hunter Novels & Stories

The shapes within it howled, ancient, ravenous things, drawn to the goddess’ broken essence. Adrien’s chest tightened. He clutched Liora tighter, the silver glow straining within him, every nerve screaming. “Zayn,” he growled, his voice breaking between fury and fear. “Tell me you have a plan.” Zayn’s silence was answer enough. The storm ripped closer. And with it, a voice, low, guttural, inhuman, spoke through the thunder. “We smell her.” Adrien’s blood ran cold. The storm descended. The first hunter broke through the storm like a blade tearing skin. It wasn’t flesh, not entirely.

I blurted. “Get them out or you're dead,” he threatened. “Careful,” I said softly. “Don’t try it.” My men stepped off their bikes, cracking their knuckles, their eyes changing colors. “We are not easily cowed, Xavier!” Henrique shouted, unzipping his jacket. His chest puffed out under the grey shirt. “We are wolves too, in case you've forgotten. I am an Alpha too of this pack, just like you.” “I know that,” I said. I could feel my nails growing longer and sharper, becoming thick daggers. “But there are levels to this game, Henrique.”

My stomach dropped. "What?" He nodded. "I hired investigators to find you after you dared to run from me that morning. It took them a week to find you." Something was slamming hard against my rib cage in a really violent way. I knew what it was. My heart. "I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."

She should've had her guard up, but she was too freaked out from reading about Garin's mom. The younger shifters had told scary stories around the campfires about a blue-eyed demon who killed unwary wolves in a very particular way. They named her The Huntress. To this day, that name sent spikes of ice down Willow's spine. The Huntress was said to kill her victims slowly, using blades instead of bullets or arrows.

"I want you to reach outside the packs. Go to the dark web. Find the underground contractors. I want you to employ professional hunters." A heavy, uncomfortable silence dropped over the office. Hiring human hunters was a massive taboo. These were men who used silver bullets, wolfsbane gas, and high-tech tracking gear to capture and kill shifters. "Hunters?" Cross repeated, his voice thick with disbelief. "Alpha, those men are completely unpredictable. If they catch her, they might kill her just for sport."

They instinctively looked down. Then everyone froze. The pink, suggestive interface of "Goddess Hunter" disappeared. It was replaced by a cold black interface that looked like a tombstone. At the center of the screen, the photo of me that had been treated as prey vanished too. In its place was Gary's face, twisted with shock. Under his photo, blood red words slowly appeared. [New game activated, Scumbag Hunter.] [Target: Gary Zachary York.] A cold, emotionless synthetic voice came from everyone's phone at the same time.

“I was jealous once of your mother because, during the hardest time Adam and I ever went through, she was in the arms of my first love. I hated my mate for siding with my brother and longed to be back in Timothy’s arms.” “How did you deal with it?” “I sunk myself into the sleuth, grieving with them, leading them, and healing them. You are not meant to be a healer, Osprey. You are an Alpha, and Alphas need to hurt and destroy stuff. They need to hunt, kill, and be the best. That’s why you fight the boys that like Scarlett because you know she is yours and you can’t stand the thought of anybody else having her, just like your father felt for your mother. The sleuth had never eaten better than

Finally, with one last desperate attempt to break free, the brute collapsed, lifeless. Hunter stepped off the brute’s back, his breathing heavy but controlled. He kicked the body aside, sending it sprawling to the ground. Then, he turned his gaze to Giovanni’s group. For a moment, Giovanni froze, his smirk fading as he caught sight of Hunter’s face. His eyes had changed—now glowing with a striking golden hue, tinged with emerald, burning with fury. Despite the punishment he had endured earlier, Hunter stood tall, his presence commanding and unbroken.

There are still some things which are not clear to her. "They know about you, Princess!.. and they are coming for you... he is especially coming for you... And trust me he will destroy each and every person who dared to hurt you..." He declared. "Who is he?" She asked confused. "He is___" Grace gasped when he got shot in the head. She was horrified when his body landed near her feet. Angry Dominick was standing in front of her. "Why did you do this?" She yelled in frustration. "Nathan!"
