CHOKEHOLD; Trapped By My Ex

CHOKEHOLD; Trapped By My Ex

My heart thudding fast as we passed. When she spoke again, her tone was lighter. “Not everything is about chains and whips, though. We’ve got the Eden Suites upstairs. This elevators leads right up there.” we stopped at it. Another set of hallway parting by the left, the elevator directly in front of us. Gold. Hmm, I was starting to think gold was a recurrence here. Gold lights, ceilings, floors, name cards on doors despite the different hallways… guess it gave it that sophisticated, expensive look. Everything sure looked expensive I won’t lie.

The Billionaire’s Pet

The Billionaire’s Pet

Quickly The lobby was a large space of sleek marble floors, adorned with elaborate golden fixtures that gleamed under the soft glow of chandeliers. Several artifacts from different parts of the world littered the length of the lobby—it was obvious that Ricardo loved to show off his possessions. Men like him annoyed the hell out of me. "Good morning, Mr Blackwood." The woman at the front desk greeted me as I approached her. "Mr Gambino has been waiting for you." "I'm sure he has," I replied bitterly. The woman gestured towards the bank of elevators—I gave her a stiff nod of thanks and walked towards one.

THE PROMISED SAVIOUR

THE PROMISED SAVIOUR

Thane pushed open the door and gingerly stepped inside. The attendant, a young man with a messy mop of hair and a friendly smile, looked up from his desk. "Hey, can I help you?" he asked, his eyes curious. Thane reached into his bag and pulled out a small pouch from which he pulled out half a kilo of gold and placed it in the desk. The attendant's eyes widened in surprise as he took in the sight of the glittering metal. "Whoa, that's a lot of gold. Where did you get it?" he asked, his voice tinged with awe.

The Reluctant Queen

The Reluctant Queen

There was no time to think about my mortality now. As I finished off the last of my drink, Bishop whisked me back to my new office. It had an entrance directly to the Great Court but the main entrance was accessible through the Lesser Courts. The gold motif continued and I wondered if it fulfilled some kind of fetish for Trick. The wall paper was cream with gold flecks, the writing desk was cast in gold, the chandelier shimmered with Swarovski crystals in gold settings. Sunlight gleamed through windows trimmed in gold and the whole room had a wicked glare to it. First order of business, sheers to diffuse the light.

My Alpha From Hell

My Alpha From Hell

Her black skinny jeans might have been a bad idea in such warm weather, but they went so well with her tight khaki t-shirt, that she didn't mind. She reached the Lord's office door and taking his advice from the other night, she threw the door open without hesitation, to see the Lord sat at his desk. Sephora quickly absorbed the contents of the room, as she glanced around. The entire room was made of every kind of precious stone. Granite floors sparkled under the sunlight pouring in the room, polished limestone walls held up large square bay windows, framed by thick red curtains. The Lord's desk was made of pure black obsidian, that had been polished so much it looked like liquid night. The Lor

Arden Luca. Grace felt her breath hitching the moment Orion opened the door. On instinct her orbs landed on dark mahogany desk in the centre with a leather seat that looked strangely comfortable to sit on, situating behind the desk. A tall floor to ceiling wall of glass on the back of table that gave full view of the city of lights. A spacious wooden shelf on left wall where several books were placed, and few decors and antiques that she had rarely seen. The office room looked minimal and modernised.

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

I’m sick and twisted for wanting him. The service resides in a tall upscale building downtown. We walk from the elevator into a lavish front office that looks like a high-end medical reception area minus the magazines. The front desk is teakwood with gold script writing on the front that says, “Elegant Escorts.” The white walls throughout the large room are embellished with wainscot accents and more artistically displayed artwork. The place screams luxury. Mak has good taste, unlike my brother, who thinks art is the cold, dead body of animals or bloody hunting pictures. He also believes the gold he wears around his neck shows how wealthy he is.

Absolutely amazing read! Great reader captivation, there seems to actually be a quality editorial team proofreading this novel. I highly recommend it to anyone on this app! To date it is the only novel I've paid to read and I've been using the app for the better part of 6months.

Suit and Scars: Claimed By The Biker Boss

Suit and Scars: Claimed By The Biker Boss

"The boardrooms are gone. The files are gone. There’s nothing left between us but the dirt and the gold." He hoisted her up, his hands catching her thighs as she wrapped her legs instinctively around his waist. He carried her toward the massive mahogany desk, clearing the remaining tablets and gold pens with one violent sweep of his arm. The clatter of the metal hitting the floor was a finality that sealed out the rest of the world.

The CEO's Gold Digger

"It's just a little something to celebrate." Her eyes searched his, the curiosity and excitement building. "But don't you think it's too early? George has not been punished for his wrongdoings yet." "It's never too early to celebrate us, Willow." Knox took his seat opposite her, his hands shaking slightly as he reached into his pocket and felt the velvet box that had been in there for days now. The waiter approached, popping open the champagne with a flourish, the sound echoing through the room. The bubbly liquid flowed into their glasses, and Knox took a deep breath.

this is interesting. it's just a little annoying for the fact that knox is so prideful and can't even confess his real feelings then just keep on flirting another woman for the world to see. can't he just man up and tell her his feelings?!

A nice story so far as in the events and the plot. But what I didn’t like was that there’s no tension between the two leads. He treats her like a toy but not a sexy toy if you know what I mean. I feel he acts douchy towards her because he knows she has a thing for him, plus he’s not likable.
