Serena raised her eyebrows and deliberately ruffled her hair, "Is it hard to believe that Mr. Roy is going to be here? “I have men that aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty if you need the assistance. I simply want to help.” I nod, and Roger shows him to the door. As soon as he’s gone, I pour myself a generous amount of scotch. Tough kid, rough around the edges even with all his posturing in that suit and expensive haircut. Certainly somebody I’d prefer to call an ally than an enemy. When Roger returns, he immediately launches into the earful he's dying to give me. “We didn't need him to tell us it was Jack. I think it was obvious from the beginning that he’s behind this shit.”

Standing, I give a stretch and then begin to move, being sure to stay in the shadows until I’m close enough to hear what is going on inside the room he disappeared into. “Did you bring it?” A deep, gruff voice asks. “O-of course,” he stammers. Extending my senses further, I listen as the sounds of something being placed on a table can be heard. Once it is in place, multiple clicks follow. “These are the routes.” “Good, good,” the gruff voice chuckles. “It seems that Roger pulled through as promised.” “Of course, he is a man of his word and can be trusted.” I had to let out a huff of amusement over hearing that. Trusted. That man wasn’t loyal to any damn body.

I said trying to make it sound fun and playful. “You youngins these days. Back when I was a young one, yes everything you said was true. But in today’s world being a Rogue isn’t what it used to be. But we do have a few Alphas that come through here. But I will give you space to work and give you safety. But I don’t want whatever drama that is going on in your personal life to affect my business. You hear me?” He said sternly.

I, too, also wondered about that. ‘‘What happened?’’ A deep voice with a slight trace of worry suddenly sounded accompanied by hurried footsteps approaching us. A man whose name was Roger then appeared right beside us to see my situation. ‘‘Oh, damn, my 1 million gold is really trying to kill herself.’’ ‘‘What should we do, Boss? Tie her up?’’ The man pinning me on the wall asked. ‘‘No, how can I leave scars on such a beautiful and delicate body?’’ Roger was worried that wouldn't sell me for a good price.

As I walk around the great room, it's obvious that certain packs in particular are missing- the Rogue packs. Instead of having different alphas for every pack, they are all run by a king who calls himself "King of the Rogues." I can't help but roll my eyes, anybody who chooses to go by that name probably has a bigger ego than Caleb. Nobody knows what he looks like since few have ever lived after encountering him, his reputation violent and messy. He never shows up to these events despite receiving the invitations. Most alphas would prefer him as a business partner rather than an enemy.

Roger looked deep into Harvey’s eyes. “Get ready, then.” Roger took a step forward and pounced right at Harvey. He spun, then threw a punch straight at Harvey’s chest. The seemingly simple attack was as quick as lightning. The air crackled as soon as Roger threw his punch forward. Harvey started to get a little interested after seeing that. To make a simple punch seem that strong, Roger was a talented man. If Harvey were to teach Roger, the man would surely have a chance to become a King of Arms, maybe even a God of War.

With a smile, Roger said, "But Natalie's show is another matter altogether." "Mr. Wild has two identities. Where does he find the time to watch the show?" Oliver retorted calmly. His dual identity undoubtedly referred to the renowned businessman Roger and the assassin known as D. "Mr. Windsor has to manage RK Group and design Windsor Group. Isn't he busier?" Roger said. "Oh, and you also have to send people to find your brother Arthur." Oliver replied, "Even with my busy schedule, I still have time for my wife. There's no need for Mr. Wild to squeeze in time for her."
