Monday couldn’t get there fast enough. They both got dressed and headed in to see each other. Work would wait...everything would. Adam showered and dressed in the sexiest suite he had. He wanted to look and smell good for her. He was ready to make their thing exclusive. He was still unsure what it was before, however, he knew what it was now. He was her man and nothing else mattered. He was fully prepared to tell her to cease all communication with the temp. All she thought she was missing, he was. She didn’t need nothing more than him.

Red. Just the color red, deep blood red burning hot. Lilly's sight was like someone covered her eyes with a red piece of paper. A chill ran down Lilly's spine as she felt her body move of its own accord. Moving up from the bench by the lake and pulling her forward. Her legs moved to bring her closer to where she imagined the lake would be. Mates? What are they, werewolves in some messed-up fairytale? War since 1917? They're in the twenty-first century! This is a dream she's still asleep in her room asleep with that loveable loser on the floor.

"I think the boys in Middesville are good enough." She scoffed, folding her hands. "Come on. They aren't as hot as the guys in New Orleans, especially the Anderson brothers. Those guys are.... Fire!!” she exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air. I frowned. Ariana saw my expressions and sobered up. " But they aren't like your brothers, anyway. Like that beautiful hunk down there and the one I saw at Thanksgiving.” "We will not be having this conversation again." I stated, before heading to the bathroom to shower.

"I lost after fighting the wolves earlier that made me run out of energy," replied Aron. Hearing that, Jessy felt very guilty because of that Aron got into a disaster. She apologized but the man said he wasn't wrong. Aron then looks for a way to help Jessy to get out of there but strange things happen.

I asked. “Yup. They’ll be here tomorrow.” My eyes widened. “Tomorrow?! And you’re chill about it?” “There’s nothing to be scared about.” “Are you going to kill them? Or are we going to escape?” “We are going to have an adventure.” I smiled. “That makes sense. So what’s the plan?” We sat down for a moment. “Well, there’s a boat outside. We can cross the sea and let the wind take us somewhere safe.” “We are traveling without a route? Are you nuts?” I said in skepticism.

Light was the name of the game but I guess she wouldn't be a female if she didn't try to take her whole closet with us. We hit highway sixty-four a couple hours later and it was a straight shoot ahead. My baby had been good so far. She'd only needed one stop to use the facilities and she hadn't bugged me every hour on the hour about being hungry or sore, in fact she seemed to be enjoying herself. I had our helmets outfitted with speaking devices so we could talk to each other without having to shout over the wind and she yammered away at me all day. I loved it.
