Luna In Distress

Luna In Distress

Pau proudly told me. I caressed the cover page of that book before smiling, “Wow, you guys are amazing, you made a book for who?” “No one, we just like to keep track of the records, especially history,” Pau told me, “So first things first, what do you know about werewolves?” “Well, I searched the internet, they are humans that shift into this beastly form,” I mumbled, “They’re ten times stronger compared to humans,” “That is a fact, but that’s just the baseline of your knowledge about werewolves,” Pau smiled as she opened the book.

THE TRUE WOLF BLOODS

THE TRUE WOLF BLOODS

Chapter Thirty-eight. Diana's pov The history section was just as large as any other section, and just as dusty. I swiped my hands over the books not knowing which one to go through first, I decided to just pick a random book. “THE SERVANTS OF THE MOON GODDESS,” the title read, the book contained werewolves and how they were meant to serve the moon goddess, that's to say we had definitely lost history because no one did these things anymore. We're serving the Lycans instead.

She filed away the thoughts. "So how were your classes today?" She changed the topic. "Boring," came the immediate reply in unison. ~*~*~ [Xavier] The library in their mansion was a cavern of ancient books and manuscripts. It contained the earliest recorded manuscript of the werewolves as well. He was sure that he would find something of importance here, it had to be. While the library on the campus was oriented towards catering to the research works of the students, most of the ancient books, the ones which are no longer published were shifted to the mansion library.

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

"I don't know love. I mean, I never had anyone to teach me any of these things. It was from my dad's journal that I learnt everything about our kind that I know so far," Max replied, ending with a sigh. Shirley let out a sigh herself. Maxwell continued. "Although there are a few books written by various people, most of who think werewolves are mystical creatures, some of these books actually contains true facts, most of them are exaggerations though," he said.

Derrick asked "Oh, you came to return the book?" "Yes. However, why are there missing pages?" "Really? Let me see." "Regarding the influential Werewolf, two pages are missing." "I didn't notice. I'll see if we can find a solution. Besides that, did you enjoy the book? Did you learn enough about werewolves?" He said with a smile Let's say it's a very interesting species. Derrick replied "Yes, it's a shame that their nature is dangerous to themselves." "How so?" "You haven't finished reading?"

Sure, I was trying to protect her—I couldn’t have known that the beast’s interest in her wasn’t going to get her hurt, but it’d be next to impossible to explain that. I didn’t want to explain it. She either wouldn’t believe me, or she’d be terrified. The last thing I wanted was for anyone in the village to know the truth about me. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I’d either have an angry mob or the government showing up at my door, and then Alex would lose the last remaining family she had. A fox skittered by, unbothered by my presence. Ever since I became a werewolf the animals in the forest have treated me like one of them. In some ways, it was peaceful.

Instead, I decided to go to the library that I hadn’t been to yet. I walked in and there was no one there. So people could just go in and take a book if they wanted, but there were tables and chairs, computers and couches set up everywhere. It was actually a really big library for an army base. I started searching through the books until I finally found the ones that I was looking for. The books that had documented white wolves over history. Werewolves were notorious for keeping records and I was glad that they had these books on white wolves.

MY SUPER CRUSH IS AN ALPHA

MY SUPER CRUSH IS AN ALPHA

She recognized the weight of my question, the genuine curiosity tinged with a trace of apprehension. She took a moment to choose her words carefully, ensuring that her answer would provide clarity amidst the myths and legends. "Sandra, it is true that the full moon holds a powerful influence over werewolves," Freda began, her voice steady and calm. "During this time, their wolf nature is heightened, their senses sharpened, and their connection to the primal world strengthened. However, it is a misconception to believe that they become uncontrollably savage or lose their sense of reason." She paused, her expression earnest and filled with wisdom. "Werewolves possess an inherent balance betwee

Politics to suck others' blood for their satisfaction, their greed. I came to know it later but at least I and satisfied I got to know about my parent's illegal way to achieve whatever they want. "Also, once Dad had told that werewolves have something important to vampires, what was that????...mnnnnn...yes, a something like potion or drink... Yea., a potion. I am damn sure they are after the potion. Only if I know what is their next move, I would go for their end." A girl who only had a baby face turned into a tough she-wolf.

THE WEREWOLF AND THE VAMPIRE KING

THE WEREWOLF AND THE VAMPIRE KING

I growl low as we laugh quietly together, it's the first time I have felt even the slightest bit happy in the past three weeks. LEO POV I have done a lot of research since I lost Seraphina. I know the blood moon is approaching like all werewolves, I can feel it. The intense pull to find my mate, but I don't want my apparent mate. I want Seraphina, and she is the one I will have. I was always the one out of Angus and myself to do the research side of the plans he made, so I did it into the blood moon as well. Now the blood moon is important to us werewolves as it is an easier time to find one's true mate, but now to a vampire, it can be very dangerous because the blood moon is power and the p

I find the whole 'best' list conversation a bit limiting because 'thrilling' can mean so many different things. A lot of people will recommend the classics like Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series, which is solid—urban fantasy with a mechanic who happens to be a walker, dealing with fae and werewolf politics. It's more procedural than pure adrenaline for me though.

My personal pick for a genuine thrill, something that actually made me check the locks, is Glen Duncan's 'The Last Werewolf'. It's written from the perspective of Jake, the last of his kind, and it's brutally philosophical, visceral, and deeply cynical. The prose is sharp enough to draw blood. It's less about the chase and more about the crushing weight of monstrous existence, which I found far more unnerving than any standard hunt narrative. For sheer, pulpy fun that moves at a breakneck pace, I'd throw in 'The Werewolf of Paris' by Guy Endore. It's old, but it reads like a frantic, bloody gothic nightmare that influenced so much of what came after.
