Novel & Cerita Good Morning Prayer

Melanie smiles, stretching languidly in Ryan's arms. Ryan nods, releasing Melanie from his embrace. Together, they make their way to the beautifully landscaped garden, where Kallini awaits them. The morning sunlight filters through the lush greenery, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The air is crisp and clean, filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. "Let's give thanks for this beautiful day..." Kallini smiles warmly, opening her arms to envelop Milani and Ryan. Their voices blend in harmony as they recite their morning prayers, the tranquil atmosphere infusing them with peace and gratitude.

"–Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us," She heard bells ring and believed someone had spotted the Athànatoi. Jerry had always been an early riser. He loved waking up before the rest of the world when the air was still fresh and the day was new. And on this particular morning, he woke up from his camping equipment, which is the tent he mounted in a nearby village. Jerry woke up to a beautiful morning, feeling grateful for another day of life. As he got out of the mat, he felt compelled to express his gratitude to his creator. For Jerry, this meant getting down on his knees in a traditional act of worship.

Archie and Meggy responded simultaneously. “Heavenly Father, creator of all things in heaven and on earth, we humbly ask you to bless this union, that these servants of yours seek good every day of their lives, that they be strong in defending what is right, that they be united as one as you are with God. Still on her mattress she started to pray a little louder for another person in the room to hear; "Dear Lord. I thank you for another day you have bestowed on us. Am indeed grateful. Ken looked at Miriam for a few seconds before saying, “I don’t know how to pray.” “God hears anything, just pray and see.” Miriam insisted. Ken took a deep breath and said, “All right, let us pray.” We all closed our eyes. Ken prayed, “Father in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you praying for this food in front of us, bless the food so that when we eat we shall have energy to work. I also pray that you bless this house, bless my boss and protect him wherever he is, bless everyone on this family. Also remember those who do not have food and give them. In Jesus name we pray.”

My alarm goes off, but I am already awake and staring at the roof of my room. With one hand, I switch off the alarm. The sunrise from my balcony looks beautiful. It warms me up and makes me feel hopeful, like it is trying to tell me what comes next. Silently, I pray inside my heart. I pray for good news. I pray for strength. I pray for the woman I love to come back to me. And somehow, I feel a sudden deep peace washing over me. I feel like my prayers are getting answered. With that faith in mind, it gives me more strength. I climb off my bed and tidy up the sheets before going into the bathroom to freshen up for the beginning of the day.

I begin in the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. The Sovereign of the Day of Judgment. Only You do we worship, and only from You do we seek help. Guide us to the straight path, the path of those who have received Your grace, not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. O Allah, accept our supplication. "Allah is the Greatest." O my Lord, forgive me. I finish my morning prayer, leave my prayer mat there since no one enters my room, gather what I need, and put on my shoes. I am ready for another day of work, grateful for the opportunities I have received.
