Daniel's POV "God Madonna? How can I reach out to you? I need your help. Please help your child get out of this problematic situation." I said, standing in front of the gate through which we can contact our gods. God Madonna was the good of dark witches, and though she was the dark one, I think she was the most beautiful, intelligent, and understanding God. She was better than those in the white world, who have turned us into their puppets and our fate as their gameplay.

Roe called happily as she burst through the bedroom door. “You have finally convinced her to get on board then?” she smiled broadly, her eyes switching between the two of us. “Mum, we talked about this. Boundaries” Gunner whined. “Oh shush, I’m your mother, I’ve seen all your bits and pieces” she said waving her hand dismissively at Gunner. I couldn’t help but laugh at the shade of red his face turned, and the look of his eyes nearly bulging out of his head at his mother’s words. Roe took my hands and turned me to face her, smiling at me with a glint of mischief in her eyes.

She felt like a failure as a mother. Sebastian nodded. "I'll take you there." Right now, she needed her son's company more than anything. After dinner, Sebastian drove Lisbeth to the hospital himself. They found Dennis lying bored in his hospital bed. The child was still weak and could do little more than rest. Seeing his mother, his face lit up. "Mommy." Lisbeth gently stroked Dennis's small face. "Mommy's here to see you. I'm staying with you tonight."
