I turn my attention back to the contract paper on the bar's table while waiting for her to return after the door to the room shuts closed.

If you want to complain to anyone, complain to Goodnovel because my support from them has almost completely disappeared since the piracy issues started. It doesn't matter if you don't care about that. It's my work, I care. I am also not the only author on the app. There are plenty of other books to read. For example, I have 11 other completed books. Constantly complaining about the delays is pointless; be grateful for what you do get.

I promise to be careful next time so this is not repeated. Once again, the updated chapter is live in the site of Goodnovel, so you can directly read from there if it's not showing in the app. It might take more time to show in the app and I am constantly checking if it's updated or not. That's why I recommend the readers to read it from the site if you don't want to wait. Thank you to all those who have been patiently. I promise to not repeat this mistake again.

If you wish to read my new book, I will have to suggest this workaround in the meantime. Go to goodnovel.com on your web browser, and search for BENEATH HER DARKNESS: The Alpha's Little Demon. It will ask you if you want to add it to your LIBRARY or, in most cases, to d o w n load the book. Dow n lo ad the book and you will be directed back to the app where the book will be added to your library. Hopefully, it will be sorted out so you can find the book easily. I took my phone out, staring down at a number I’ve always had but never rang, but I don’t think even he could fix this shit.
