The coffee smelled amazing, and she waited for the stupid pot to finish. “Do you have a book on English history?” A older gentleman asked. “If we have one it will be in the history section, try the far-left side. Three or four sleeves down.” Majesta waved toward the section of the store. The coffee finished and she poured herself a cup and added some sugar. The first sip was to die for, and she moaned into her mug. With that, she went to the register and waited to see what sold for the day. They also took old schoolbooks to be resold. It was a nice way to help out the college students. She heard a thud and looked up to see a rather large bag of books sitting on the counter.

"A small mistake? Evading tens of billions of dollars in taxes is a small mistake?" "Betraying a special forces hero is a small mistake?" "These two are shameless!" "You guys took him in? He's a recipient of the Medal of Honor, a hero!" Reporters raised their microphones and cameras. Henry was still relentless. "Timothy, you've ruined my daughter! I'll fight you to the death!" He tried to pounce at me, but Quentin shoved him away. "Old man, you looking to die?" Quentin asked coldly. "You... You're bullying the elderly!" Carrie sat on the ground and threw a tantrum. "Help! They're being violent!"

A textbook on herbal remedies, titled: Herbal Remedies of the Old World. The cover looked old and battered. I pulled it down, flipping through the yellowed pages for a moment before tucking it under my arm and taking it back to the table. The clock had struck three by then, and Damon was packing up his laptop. He glanced at the title as I set it down and began sliding my other books into my bag. “What’s this?” he asked, picking it up. “Herbal Remedies of the Old World. Hm.” “It’s for the trial,” I said with a shrug. “Figure it could be useful.”

Some canvases were broken, as if in frustration. Next, I visited the library. Many of the books were old and hopelessly confusing. Most incomprehensible of all were the ritual books, which made up the bulk of his library. There were only a few novels, and judging by the dust, they hadn’t been touched in years. Evidently, Salem was not the sort of man who read for pleasure.

It was the best kind of job for me, I loved it and I got paid weekly, enough to eat, after my first paycheck, I had spent a full week starving, I tried to ask for my money beforehand but my boss who’s the meanest person ever, said no. How could such a cold hearted person be responsible for one of the best places in the world! There was no sleeping with a storm outside, I was up most of the night, I was up early and ready to go to work, I was slipping but pushed it down as I got out of her car and quickly walked over to the bookstore. I walked over to the children's books area, I was thankful no one was around as I sat down in a beanbag after grabbing a few books to read.

I uttered, walking in between the bookshelves. Dave scoffed "That is helpful," he muttered in sarcasm. I chuckled and ran my fingers along the binder end of the book. My fingers were covered with dirt from the dust on the books. I read the names in the books and the years they were published as I tried to find anything that was punished centuries ago. "Hey Leo, there are a lot of old and torn books in here. Tell me what we are looking for." Dave's voice startled me a little. "We?"

The four of them watch as I slit ancient tape and the box sags and falls apart. ***** JAMES Books. What's new? She's consistent... 'Principles of Geology' by Charles Lyell - well-thumbed, 'The Merchant of Venice', 'Marvels of Pond Life' by Henry Slack - very dog-eared... The list goes on and the only thing any of the texts have in common is that they all look well-used. A second-hand bookstore would describe them as slightly foxed, but it looks as though the bears, the boars and the badgers have been at them too.

After they had the coffee they took their leave and I also went back to sleep. When I woke up it was already half past seven. As if I just slept on a long night. I felt hungry, so I went down and you d Grandpa returned with sine chicken. He has a good sale today as it's exam season and the suggestive books are very good in sales. Grandpa didn't put an extra charge on those books so our store is the most famous on the street. That place doesn't have any other bookstores nearby. So everyone comes to buy books from our store.

He looked really frail and it made me worried that such an old man was here working in this store without any staff or help, at least from what I have deduced already. “Um…yes. I would like to browse through your…book selections,” I told him politely. “Feel free to, ma’am. We sell the books here, so if you want to, you are also free to buy some,” I could hear the not-too-subtle suggestion behind his tone and I smiled. “Alright, thank you,” I said. I proceeded to scan through the books in the store. Most of them were just half baked and cliche novels, none of them which caught my eye, except for a select few, some rare gems.

Harold was out and I was all alone inside the house. I walked upto the book shelf and checked the books he had in his book shelf. Most of them were of business and some were of Sherlocks books, don't wanna read detective books. There was no romantic books here. In such a big book shelf, there are only detective and business management books. I again thoroughly went through the books and found a yellow color old book, which was neither detectives nor business books. I pulled it out and read the title of the book. PARENTHOOD.
