I reply without losing the smile on my face. "Why don't you try forcing me then? Let's see what you got... Rogue King?" 'Jackpot!' His eyes gleam like blood-red rubies in reaction to my words, confirming to me that my suspicions are right. He's indeed the infamous Rogue King. The despicable motherfucker that is highly despised by every shifter in North America. No one knows his name. No one knows the pack he was originally from and no one has ever seen his face before, he's only known as the Rogue King and by his reputation.

If it weren’t for the weird feeling I got, I would have hired him. Looking at the application, I saw this guy's name was Landon Miller. Scanning his information, I noticed he was a Rogue. Rogues weren’t disqualified, but they had to give a reason as to why they were a Rogue. Apparently, the guy had been a member of a different Pack and left to serve in the military.

Only one Rogue with a name that starts with the letter E, and he killed him. If the rogue is dead, then who is the E? “What are you thinking?” Kendra asked, seeing her father lost in thought. “Who is E?” Alpha Conor spoke his thoughts out loud, looking from his daughter to his Beta. Kendra looked at her father like he is a retard. The brunette didn’t think the name E merited an explanation. They all should be thinking it. “It is Egon,” Kendra blurted out with a disgusted scoff, like she couldn’t believe that her father still doesn’t want to consider what is in front of him.

The other wolves that I had spotted during my scan remained hidden, probably waiting for a signal before they stepped out. The rogue chuckled, a low, mocking sound that grated on my nerves. "You can call me Shade. The Rogue Alpha, as they like to say." The gall of this guy. I thought to myself wondering about the amount of boldness mixed with craziness he had to have to call himself the Rogue Alpha.

“That was the invitation he needed, Micheal leading his hu dreads of pawns, surge toward us violently, I have no idea what we are going to do or how we are going to overcome such amount of rouges but I know want thing for sure, none of us is dying tonight, not while we are together, never! With that thought in mind, I waltzed forward with determination, dipping my teeth into the first rouge that came my way. Gliding and avoiding the overwhelming number of bastards coming for me. That is one thing with rouges, they are only violent and would never give up, not until the last one drop dead on the ground but they are not skilled fighters either. Their aura was all dark gray. "Well, well, well. What a sight!" The oldest rouge said. "Seems like we landed ourselves some snack, boys," the rouge licked his tongue, and all chuckled. She cautiously turned in their direction and snarled. "Feisty bitch. Meow, meow? Ruff, ruff? ...I like it," the red-haired rouge mocked. "Where are you looking at? I’m right here, sweetheart," the old rogue mused. She snarled again, preparing herself for an attack.

Just then, a man pushed through the crowd and stepped in front of Derek. “Alpha, give the word—we’re ready.” It was his Beta, voice calm but filled with authority. Kelvin froze, as if struck by lightning. “What… what did you call him? Alpha?” he stuttered. Derek tilted his head, smirking. “Do you doubt the existence of the Rogue Pack?” Kelvin didn’t answer. His lips moved but no words came out. Alex, still seated, looked stunned. “Wait… that Rogue Pack? The one that’s invaded territory after territory over the past years? The one with the mysterious Alpha no one has ever seen?”

Andre, “I don’t know but something big is happening! I can feel it!” Evan, “please just chill, I don’t need this shit today!” I opened the door to the diner and her smell hit me first! The most amazing smell of dark chocolate coffee hit me and almost knocked me backward. The second thing I sensed is she is a rouge! What the hell is happening? How did I walk into the only restaurant that had a fucking rogue working there? I scanned the room until I locked eyes with the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. But she was a rogue!

"I'll spend the rest of my life repaying that debt. Don't ask me to stop." Rook lounged against the wall near the door with his permanent smirk back in place. He was officially a pack member now, a status he claimed to find deeply embarrassing. "I'm a rogue," Rook had said when Kellan signed the papers. "You can't just file me into respectability." But he hadn't left. And he hadn't stopped calling Bastian "Big Bast" at every opportunity.

He smiles with the corner of his mouth, in a way kind if dirty way that made me hold my breath for a few seconds. One word, just a thought hammered my head while he went away, parading his well shaped ass in jeans involving it perfectly. TEMPTATION… And I’m running away from some kind of provocation like this, that’s why it’s better not to look. He goes on to the pool table and talk to a few clients, Penelope whisper in my ear, making me embarrassed: “Hunter, his name is Hunter Vaugh, he’s the owner of this bar, close your mouth Maggie, you almost drooled after he went by our table.”
