Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

she replied and seethed at Kyle who gave her a hard slap across the face. “There is another thing,” Gazzeus said and rose to his feet. “I saw the mummified body of a young girl. Must have been up to a day since she dried but I noticed she had black blood.” “Black blood,” Aamon repeated in an uninterested tone and used his thumb to rub his forehead. His hand suddenly stopped moving and he shot his eyes wide before standing from his throne. “Did you say black blood?” he asked. “Yes, master. Isn’t it strange that the witches are back after a long time and the Nightbloods whom we thought were no longer in existence are now being used by them?”

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

“That’s a lot of questions, I know. Do you know anything about zombies?” Dr. Clerval took a last puff from his pipe and placed it carefully back into the ashtray. “Reanimated corpses have been a theme of old folk tales for centuries,” he said, lapsing into his teaching voice. “They are especially connected to the voodoo practiced in places like the Caribbean and Africa. It’s usually a witch doctor or sorcerer who brings the person back to life with a spell. In the last hundred years, zombies have become increasingly common in literature, and a bit later, in film. In these modern stories, it’s usually some kind of plague or radiation that turns hordes of corpses into flesh-eating monsters.”

The lingering feeling of being surrounded by these evil girl claws still left them to fear Xiaza more that they wish they won’t encounter this little girl anymore, who knows that this day was an unlucky day for them, they shouldn’t have. The zombies looked at each other and started to talk in a strange language and manner not far away from where the amusing little Xia is standing. Kidnapped By The Mafia Boss

Kidnapped By The Mafia Boss

“I don’t think he has any moles among Ryan’s men, and the doors were unlocked from the inside, right?” “I believe so. I don’t think you can open the doors from the outside for safety reasons.” Zoya is looking around the snow and lifts her eyes to the surrounding birch trees. “Don’t you think it’s weird the zombies are attacking during daylight? Most of them are already half-dead, burnt to crisps... It’s unsettling how they aren’t seeking shelter.” Zoya keeps walking, but I stop in my tracks, suddenly unable to walk because of a memory washing up to the surface.

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Becky was happy to see her sister enjoying herself. Their next visitors announced themselves by their noisome stench—undead corporeal revenants or zombies. As they passed by the locker, Millie shook her wand at them, but nothing she did could remove their smells of rotting carrion and odoriferous human offal. This night, the zombies did not rush and eat the humans they encountered. Becky wondered whether they weren’t as hungry as usual. She need not have felt concerned as they stormed the space across from her family’s unit and brought out a few of the coffins stored there, intending to eat their contents. When they opened the coffins and gorged themselves on the vampires’ bodies, leaving a

Do not awaken the Undead king

Do not awaken the Undead king

The remains of the fire glowed drearily before my eyes. The sun was going down, and I was no longer thinking that I had spent the whole day with a stranger who was really strange. That I had almost slept with him in a bear’s lair. That I had almost died from a seizure. And now, I’m watching the dying embers with him in the company of an undead called Zomzom.

Vampire of the New World

Vampire of the New World

She observed that her cousin was still fast asleep despite the bright light of the day and the chirping of the birds from the tree near the window. Lisa remembered the things that Celie said to her the previous night. She wondered if it was really just a bad dream that made Celie see or feel the presence of the dark figure. The same bad dream that made her cousin walk in her sleep. Lisa knew that it was improbable for anyone from outside the house to enter the guest room after all the security guards stationed at the gate and the grounds. Lisa’s wandered to that other possibility, however, that there could be something else, some other reason why Celie would conjure visions of dark figures a

Captain Cook
Excellent book! Plenty of suspense with vivid descriptions of locations and characters! I've reached Chapter 169 and didn't see any issues. I hope the author updates soon with new chapters! Great work!

This is an extremely well-written book. Of all the books I’ve read on the platform, this author’s command of the English language is the best. The story is great and reminds me a lot of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

But at this time, Xander Faris was very clear that the arc of Solana Gibson's Ghoul-Locker Spear and the sword radiance of Omar Pine were much smaller than before. Then, when he got a little closer, Jessica, Lady Maisie, Maya Kaye, and the others all looked extremely tired. Like them, there were also those cultivators who were also surrounded. A cultivator suddenly smashed half of the zombie's head with his palm. Because the zombie's corpse core was not dug out, its strength was still there. Regardless of the fact that cultivator's palm was still embedded in its head, it rushed forward and threw the frightened cultivator to the ground.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Where the Dead go to Die

Where the Dead go to Die

Time enough for the human race to trick itself into thinking they still had ‘control’. But things slipped through. Textbook. The preliminary bite had been to her husband’s neck, the aim being to bring him down. If she didn’t act quickly, the zombie would use its calcified fingernails to slit open his arms and legs, gaining access to the goodies underneath. Alternatively, it would roll him over and rip out his spine. The spines, said the voice over, are their favorites. Emily gagged. That this could be happening in quiet Charleston struck her as impossible—let alone to them. This kind of thing happened to those who let their guards down, people who had grown complacent.

Frequently Asked Questions

I keep seeing people recommend the same old books, and frankly, most of them bore me to tears. The 'best' for a real survival thrill isn't the bloated epic; it's the tight, desperate scramble. 'The Girl With All the Gifts' by M.R. Carey is the only one on my shelf that genuinely made me feel the claustrophobia and moral collapse of a true collapse. It’s not about the gore, it’s about the choices you make when every option is horrific.

Forget the macho gun-nut fantasies. 'World War Z' (the book, obviously) gets it right by showing how different cultures and personalities fracture under the same global pressure. The audio drama version is a whole other level of immersive. The most thrilling part isn't the zombie kills—it's listening to a politician slowly realize his secure bunker is a tomb, or a pilot describing the silence after the engines die.

If you want pure, unrelenting pressure, seek out 'The Living Dead' by Romero and Kraus. It’s a doorstop, but the opening sequence on an offshore oil rig, with the crew utterly isolated as the world falls apart over the radio, is survival horror at its most chillingly plausible. That feeling of hearing the catastrophe secondhand while your own safety visibly erodes? That’s the good stuff.
