' my inner mind questioned. I'm about to consider her questions but no, I won't back away. Who knows I may find the missing 30 pages or even find another book if I have luck. Letting out a loud sigh, I stepped inside the building with shaken hands. My urge to find the book may overcome my fear but I can't betray my soul. Goosebumps taken over all my body when I heard the sound of my own breath, it's like someone is here with me and I'm hearing their breath but deep down I know I'm alone.

I was sure. I sighed and flipped it open again, running my fingers across the stiff old pages. The writing inside was tiny, neat, and definitely older than anything I had ever seen in Father’s library. Each chapter had illustrations of different beasts, creatures I’d only heard whispers of. Gargoyles, gnomes that were alive, serpent women and even sirens. None of these existed though… or did they? I could feel my head throbbing from an oncoming headache so I just shut the book and stared at the ceiling of my room.

My father’s book. I took a deep breath and opened it again, making sure to avoid touching any of the pencil prints. I looked at them one by one. Most of them were just drawings of still objects. Then I flipped to the next page and saw a picture of the glowing moth! Just like the other sketches, this one was vivid too, as if it had been captured and trapped in the book. Surrounding the glowing moth were little sparks in an exact shade of gold to represent the light it gives off as it flies. I turned over to the next page. Nothing significant. Just banshee drawings. I flipped and flipped until I got to the end of the book. Nothing of any peculiar interest to me. I closed the book and set it do

Most of them have only one picture on the page and are a quarter of the size of a regular book. "Shit." I say quietly. "I can't believe it still costs ten bucks for a book that only has six pages. I can get a two hundred page paperback at the grocery store for the same price." Tiffany smirks. "But does your two hundred page paperback have fur like this touchy-feely book with a tiger on the front?" "It has fur?" I grab it out of her hands and begin going through it, touching all the different pictures as I turn the pages.

Alyssa called shaking him continuously. "Oh Jupiter poso, where is him am ready to hop on him," The rabbit said rotating his arms continuously. "Berk!" Alyssa called more like a whisper. "Huh!" The rabbit squealed after realizing himself. Alyssa touches the book and immediately it's colour became brighter and it glimmered like a burning lamp, with confidence she opened the pages and the sightseeing was frightening pictures of the past beast and burnt witches and so many more. "Oh my Gosh!" Alyssa exclaimed after seeing all the things on a particular page.

The first page that he saw was a blank page which had a brown and old look on it, like it was published years ago 'Okay, so the book was unique after all. It gets me excited and eager to start reading it' After flipping the first page he went to flip the second page when he saw the title of the book and he knew from that moment that it was not a common story at all. He knew this after looking at the written title of the book on the second page below. There were words that shook him as shivers run down his spine making him have goosebumps nearly throwing the book away from him

Mike asked. "Tink find dirty book," the goblin whispered. Picking it up, she opened the pages and turned it around. In stunning detail was an image of a werewolf, his monstrous member dangling between his legs as he jerked his load into the hungry mouth of a pair of women on the ground beneath him.

Phobos pipes in telling me of his doubts about my accomplishment of his exercise. Grinding my teeth I claw on it and adding pressure to it has a piece pop up from the page. I startle dropping the book to the grass floor, caught off guard. Peering in I see fur peeking from underneath the piece. Time is running out. Taking a small breath I slowly tear the piece from the book. It comes off easily as if it was meant to whilst uncovering a small picture of four baby wild hares sleeping in a basket. There weren't merely four hares but eight.

“I don’t know. Daddy says they protect the city, but I don’t see how. They never do anything.” My finger stopped on a worn out book. The faded writing on the spine said Beasts Of The Wild. I pulled it out and flipped it open in the middle. There was a drawing of a yeti-looking creature called a yowg. The description gave details of height, size and hair colour. Dietary information and habitats were also included. I flicked through more pages and found more creatures, some of which I was familiar with. The names, at least. Unfortunately, the book wasn’t organised into alphabetical order, so I had to search a number of pages before I found what I was looking for: Mouse King.

Goosebumps arise over my skin when I turned around to find anyone familiar but found none and a gust of cold wind slap my exposed skin causing me to shiver with it. I looked around again. Thankfully, my eyes landed on my neighbour house who is my father's good friend and their daughter is also my good friend. I looked up at my friend's room's window to see she is signalling me with her hands to run away. I frowned and asked her why but she put her hand over her mouth and I think she is crying because her face uglily frowned and lips were trembling but why? Suddenly, my stomach grumbled to say, feed me first and do you why?why? Thing later. I look at my house direction again and think.
