Goosebumps form on her arms as she looks around. I want to scream, but I don't want to bother Beth and Kathy. Sunny just sits there and looks around, waiting for something to jump out at her. Every creak and rustle sends her heart pounding, and she can't help but wonder if the mysterious woman is still lurking nearby. Sunny then looks at the cute cat clock as it calms her, and she slowly falls into a deep slumber. As she drifts off to sleep, Sunny's mind is still filled with unease.

Everywhere around me was silent but I felt like someone was watching me and it made goosebumps appear on my skin. I rubbed my hands along the length of my arm to get rid of the goosebumps but they won’t go away. The eyes on me were creepy even though I could not see it or the person. It felt like something was crawling up my body and it was making me shudder in shock. I wanted to call Nathan but I didn’t want to look like a fool if they didn’t find anyone lurking around the property so I decided to shake it off as a figment of my imagination.

Dad pointed his finger at my nose while using his other hand to continuously smack my head painfully, yelling, "You useless, good-for-nothing little ingrate!

“Don’t you dare think about it.” Goosebumps exploded on my arms, and I instantly rubbed them, like that would stop the creepy chill crawling all over me. "Can’t sleep?”

he explained. “Okay, great,” I replied, looking over the books. The romance was a bodice-ripper, I could tell by the cover. I reached for the mystery. Stumpy held it out of my reach. “Ah, ah, ah. You’ve got to pay the fee.” “Fee?” I echoed. “Give Stumpy a squeeze, and you can have the book,” Stumpy said. A squeeze? Cautiously, I opened my arms for a hug. Stumpy chuckled, reached out, and squeezed one of my breasts instead.

Before I can pull my head out of my ass and stop her, my soul mate gets in the car and drives away. my soul mate jumps in the car and drives away as if the dogs of hell are at her heels. are snapping at her heels. Goosebumps pebbled along my arms, followed by a chill that invoked a cold sweat that trickled down the back of my neck. Shelves upon shelves of books lined the walls, but they were unlike any books I’d ever seen before. As I pondered what kind of animal the leather had come from I spotted one text that had a splotch of ink on the front. It looked like an old tattoo. Feeling eyes on me, I spun around to find another shelf. This one was crammed with little wooden figurines. Their jewel eyes stared out at me, frozen and unblinking. Moving onto another shelf, I found old specimen jars filled with preserved animals and what I assumed were embalmed organs.
