Her eyes glowed blue and wild werewolf hairs grew on her face. "Stop talking gibberish!" She yelled as her claws and fangs sprouted out. "Does the truth really hurt you this much? Am I the reason you're doing all this uprising crap?" I asked. Her body began to expand and her bone structure began to change. Soon, her clothes tore off from her body and in front of me was a large brown wolf with shiny blue eyes. "What the hell!" I said as my mouth was wide open in shock.

Today, there wasn’t any messiah for Stephen, Gordon strangled him to death, imagining how he would have been pumping in and out of Amanda, had Tim and Rose not intervened. “No! No!” Gabriel shouted when he saw Gordon’s bones break, he was in a crouching position, “it hurts! It hurts!” Gordon cried out. His body became hairy, his eyes turned golden brown, and soon, he was transformed into a giant wolf with brown and grey fur. It looked bigger than his normal wolf that comes during the full moon. Gordon howled. Gabriel walked to him and rubbed his back. Gabriel was sad for him, he waited a few minutes and Gordon transformed back into himself.

My stomach lurched, and my skin crawled. They were thin and sickly, almost furless like naked mole-rats. What bugged me the most was their wrinkly, flushed skin, slick with mucus and dark veins branching beneath. “Moon Goddess, w-why do they l-look so abominable?” I stuttered, nearly losing my stomach at the sight of the monstrous wolf. Then I remembered that Selene was powerless. We were on our own.

Despite the warm temperature outside, she was shivering and goose bumps were clearly visible on her arms. “Is it the werepanther again?” Olivia asked. “Nope! Another folklore,” she said frowning. “It’s a vampire. Watch my back,” she shouted, getting ready to strike. “You got this!” Skin said as he put his hands on her shoulders. “Stand off!” she growled loudly. He looked at her with surprise. “Um, sorry, my natural aggression is acting up against one of your inner animals,” she explained. All of them watched as she run into the forest, took a few turns and finally emerged as a werepanther.

My skin erupts with goosebumps and chills run down my spine. “Do you need some help there, lady?” His voice is gravelly in all the worst ways possible. I cringe; his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. “N-No, I think I’m okay. Thank you, though!” My voice trembles. He doesn’t stop inching closer to me. I step backward. “I think she’s scared of us!” The man calls out. Laughter erupts from behind him and more werewolves appear. Some carry weapons, whereas others simply have their claws, showing off their teeth when they enter the light.

We all held hands, a silent promise of support amidst the coming transformation. As the wind grew stronger, a collective gasp ripped through the group. Bones began to crackle, a sound both terrifying and strangely beautiful. The girl beside me let out a guttural roar, her body contorting as fur sprouted across her skin. In seconds, a magnificent silver wolf stood in her place, its eyes glowing a fierce amber.

The gates trembled as massive claws tore into wood, snarls filling the air as the first wave of werewolves breached the defenses. Within the stronghold, Cove’s sharp ears twitched. His gaze darkened as he rose from his war table. He could already sense it, Derek. His scent curled through the wind, thick with fury and desperation. “They're here” Cove growled, already shifting. His bones cracked and stretched, his muscles thickening as dark fur erupted across his skin. His face elongated, jaws widening into a powerful snout as his hands twisted into claws. In mere seconds, the man was gone, replaced by a towering, black-furred beast, its silver eyes gleaming with primal fury.

Bonnie and Gavin move the coffee table out of the centre. "You're sure about this Diana?" Gavin checks. "Yes" No. "Does it hurt?" I ask Bonnie "It's not nice but you get used to it after a few thousand times" she says jokingly as she strips down to her bare skin. I nod my head. I watch as Bonnie's skin grows fur, her bones snap and contort but worst was watching her fingers snap one by one followed by her tail growing. Until there's a big fucking Auburn coloured wolf stood in my lounge!

The skin of the foreign presence grazed against mine, sending an irrational shiver that made my skin crawl. I stopped and looked around. Everyone’s eyes were on us. As I moved again, the presence shifted, scratching against my skin. “There is something inside our dress. Something that should not be there,” my wolf said. “I noticed. When I move, it moves too. What should I do?” I asked, feeling uneasy. “Are you okay?” Ryder leaned in and whispered, his forehead furrowed in worry. As I turned to him, my eyes met Mrs Willow’s. She smirked, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
