They hunch forward, ape-like, as if failed human experiments. As they approach, we totter back in fear. “Werewolves,” one of them chuckles darkly. “You already have the entire kingdom. Why come here to steal our lands too?”

People cowered away in fear as Karen's wolf howled, making all the wolves present hide in a corner with their tails between their legs. She stretched, her bones creaking as the beast hiding inside her took over. Falling on her knees, Karen howled painfully as her hands and legs turned into strong limbs. Her skin disappeared and was covered by soft, golden furs, which shimmered under the setting sun. Shaking its furs, her beast roared, turned to face Rasmore once again, and charged towards him in blinding speed. Before the guards could register what was going on, the wolf was already above Rasmore, tearing his skin off.
