DADDY - MOMMY
I let out a frustrating sigh while standing on my bedroom balcony, sipping my early coffee. I could see a few neighborhood gossipers running along the street, immediately whispering among themselves the moment they spotted my beautiful self. I simply smiled at them, even though I badly wanted to pour hot coffee over their heads. They never really stop gossiping, especially when the topic is us widowed friends. The gossip only intensified when one of our friends moved away. What’s so interesting about a group of friends who simply want to live quietly after losing their husbands? I’m sure they’re just insecure because we’re beautiful, like goddesses!
