We entered the room, which had black floral designs painted on the walls, incredibly gothic in style. A chandelier with fake scarlet candles hung over the bed we were approaching. There was a side table with a carved stone dragon holding up the glass, a bottle of water placed on it. That was probably for me, given what was to come. The bed had silky blankets that shined like obsidian. It was a canopy, with a crimson cloth draping down loosely, reminding me of blood gushing out of something.

Melodias Bluemoon Here I am now sitting beside the woman in black, frowning because she had the audacity to ruin my table top. This mahogany table came from the Southern Kingdom, made by the most skilled craftsman. The Bluemoon crest was carved skillfully in the middle of the table. Now the crest looked like something that came out of a horror movie. “This coffee tastes good.” She said with a smile, as if minutes ago she wasn’t trying to take my life. “Thanks.”

Arabella The florist was rambling on about peonies, or maybe it was daisies. I couldn’t focus. My eyes flicked to the empty seat beside me, to the untouched tea going cold in front of me, the scattered samples and color palettes and fabric swatches littering the table like confetti for a celebration I wanted no part in. “Arabella?” the planner prompted gently. “You like this ivory for the table runners, yes?” I blinked, nodded. “It’s fine.”

The table was set with fine china, crystal glassware, and shimmering silverware, all perfectly arranged to create an atmosphere of luxury and refinement. The walls of the dining room were covered in stunning wallpaper, featuring a delicate floral pattern in shades of cream and gold. The windows were draped in heavy, velvety curtains that pooled onto the floor, adding to the room's opulence. The ceiling was adorned with a beautiful fresco, depicting cherubs and other mythical creatures in soft, pastel hues.

Behind her, her assistant wheeled in a rack covered in protective cloth. “Luna,” she greeted warmly, eyes bright. My chest tightened at the word. “Gina,” I corrected gently. Her smile widened, understanding flickering in her gaze. “Of course. Gina.” She stepped into the living room and got to work quickly. Fabric swatches appeared first. Silks. Satins. Structured crepe. Embroidered lace. Rich velvet lining. She spread them across the coffee table like an artist laying out paints before a masterpiece. Debbie leaned forward immediately. “Ooooh. That deep ivory one.”

I do not know what could have gone wrong. While we did not marry for love, at least on his part, Caleb and I had a good partnership, or so I thought. But now, I am not sure anymore. I walked back to the dinner table and surveyed the sumptuous preparation with an eagle eye. Absent-mindedly, I ran my hand over the new jade green table runner I picked out as befitting the occasion.

The Luna ceremony was I'm only four more days, but time was going by so fast. “Oh, awesome. How about you chose a wax for me? I'll go meet Margot now.” I suggested, making him smile. I kissed his lips and made my way out to the dining room. Margot was already there, with two giant rolls of fabric. The bottom layer of the tables was a blush pink, while the one on top was a laced fabric in gold. It had beautiful details, but it fits just perfectly with the theme.

Behind the archway, a long table came in sight, decked out with a white lace cloth and elegant cutlery and crockery. Everything had beautiful golden patterns, seemingly made by the same artist. Small blue flowers in the middle of the table rounded off the scenery that was submerged in the warm light of the fireplace. Some fading sun rays still fell through the high, light-blue windows.

Tony came out with more trays and with those, they had finally moved everything over. The table looked great, with a nice espresso brown tablecloth with a burlap runner down the middle. In the center there was a bowl of tiny pumpkins that his mom was super excited about for some reason. They did look nice. Mom had broken out her good dishes, silverware, and crystal glasses, and set the black-magic-manipulated sailor hat napkins on each plate. The deep crimson napkins made everything look professional.

The two vampires walked out to the hall and were met by an otherworldly scene. The once red interior was replaced with light gray linens that looked silver in the gentle glow of the candles scattered on every surface. The halls were lined with standing floral arrangements of white lilies and blue roses. White curtains hung at both ends of the hall and blocked any onlookers from peaking in. In the center of the hall, a table had been set up with bottles of blood, blood wine, and glasses.
