Gothic Table Runner Novels & Stories

Everything looks just how I envisioned. The usual full-length tables and benches have been moved to the back of the packhouse and replaced with circular tables. Our pack’s colours are green and black, and I’ve implemented that into tonight’s décor and my outfit. The tables are covered in emerald-green tablecloths, with black plates and black cutlery. The chairs are covered in black satin fabric with emerald-green sashes tied around the back. The centrepieces consist of a single emerald candle surrounded by black roses. I know, black roses are a death omen, but I don’t believe in flower symbology.

I dismiss her for the evening knowing that it will only be Mona and possible myself allowed to serve Banners guest tonight. Setting the sprawling long tables with the last of the dishes I’ve worked so had to prepare, I step back and take in the cleanly decorated table. The long table form the main pack house was brough here an hour ago and I set to work setting it with a shimmery gold runner and black chargers, in the center of the chargers set pristine gold plates and freshly pressed black napkins. I hold back a sniffle as I look at the beautifully set table, seeing the dishes, runners and elegant decor that would have been used for my father transfer of title ceremony with my older brother

The gold lettering will look stunning against the heritage green. I’ve purchased dark green tablecloths and white ones that are small to sit on top of the green ones. With the old beams in place inside they’ll look amazing. Mom agrees and she knows a thing or two about design. Not that she studied it or anything but trust me when I say my mom is addicted to P*******t like I’m addicted to Cody’s eyes and smile.

Her smile meant everything. As they were escorted to their table, Annatoria couldn't help but notice the intricate details that adorned the walls. Rich, dark wood paneling complemented the creamy, ivory tones of the tablecloths, while delicate, hand-painted murals added a touch of whimsy to the space. The soft, golden light that spilled from the crystal chandeliers above cast a warm, inviting glow over the entire room, making it feel like a luxurious, private sanctuary.

Or maybe I am just captivated by his every move. We walked into this beautiful hall. The lights are dimmed, with warm white uplighting. There are about ten round tables outlining the dance floor. There is a small table to the left with a huge beautiful sign that reads “Find Your Seat” with little folded gold paper with Black writing. To the right there is a table with cheese, lots of cheese and crackers. There were all different kinds of deli meats. It is a giant Charcuterie board. I am in awe looking around. Each table has a Black table cloth with a gold table runner. Each chair is wrapped in black and gold. There is a white flower arrangement in the center of each table with candle
