Love Gone Hollow

Love Gone Hollow

You would even let me live the rest of my life like a fool who didn’t know what was happening! "Stop making excuses for your infidelity, trying to get my forgiveness. “I’m back for one thing, and one thing only—to return your bone marrow to you!" In an instant, the fear in Noah’s eyes magnified a thousandfold. It seemed to drown him, suffocating him and leaving him breathless. "No… Emma, please don’t do anything brash. I was wrong, I really was. If you go through with this, you’ll get hurt, and it could… it could…"

The Alpha's Beta: Once Rejected, Now Desired

The Alpha's Beta: Once Rejected, Now Desired

A shuffle followed from her end. “I’m sorry, you just said something I’m not aware of,” I shot back. “And I’m sure you understand why I’m asking.” Lena hesitated. “The Goth is the dreaded spirit of the Crimson Circle. It can possess you through your deepest desires. When you said Xavier was lost, I thought you meant that the Goth had possessed him.” “What, no!” “The Goth is the common unionizing spirit of the Crimson Circle members,” Lena continued. “For quite a few years, the Goth hasn’t found a suitable host to make it into the world. It’s why not too many people know about it.”

On Thin Ice With You

On Thin Ice With You

She naturally plays the tour guide, pointing out the intricate biblical reliefs carved into the massive doors. Elias's gaze drifts from the spires down to the high, shadowed corners of the exterior wall. "What are those?" he asks, pointing toward the grotesque stone figures perched on the ledges. "They look like monsters." Mia nips a smile, impressed by his sharp eye. "Gargoyles. Standard Gothic architecture. Practically, they're rain spouts to channel water away from the walls. Symbolically, they're meant to scare away evil spirits and protect the church."

THE DAY I SLAYED MY VAMPIRE LOVER

THE DAY I SLAYED MY VAMPIRE LOVER

It turned the sprawl of Oakhaven into a blurred watercolor”a landscape of dissolving gold streetlights and bleeding crimson neon, all washed away by a deluge that felt less like weather and more like a celestial cleansing. Inside the sanctuary of the study, the world narrowed down to the crackle of the massive gothic hearth. The fire was a living, breathing entity, throwing long, spasmodic shadows that danced across the mahogany shelves, illuminating the spines of ancient tomes that held the secrets of a dying civilization.

The Alpha’s Pride Mate (The Pride Who Goes Into Heat)

The Alpha’s Pride Mate (The Pride Who Goes Into Heat)

A sense of unease permeated the air as if the very stones themselves whispered of long-lost secrets and ancient curses. Polished ebony coffins lined the walls, each adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of darkness and death. Gargoyles leered down from their perches high above, their stone eyes seemingly tracking every movement with an eerie intensity. Sinister whispers reverberated through the dark corridors, and the cold touch of fear lingered in the air, warning all who dared to intrude upon this unholy sanctuary.

And‍ behind th‌e wall was the house. ‌ It looked like something from a gothi‌c novel. All dark stone and sharp‌ towers and windows that looked black even in the daylight. Winter

Winter

“We’re here.” I inhaled sharply and looked ahead. Sure enough, the road continued north but off to the right, was a giant gothic-style castle nestled into the mountainside. It very well could have been the inspiration for Dracula’s castle in the illustrated version I had in my little library. All that was missing was storms and lightening over the top of it. While it was supposed to snow soon, the sky was clear and just starting to show signs of sundown.

Though i wish there was a better ending, i truly enjoyed this read. It kept me engaged and curious about the characters. It had a storyline that naturally flowed and kept you surprised at each turn. Super excited to read more of this author’s work

Mafia Boss Possession

Mafia Boss Possession

The dark and gloomy fortress of the mobster Andrei Borisov stood majestically atop a hill on the outskirts of the city. An imposing mansion of Gothic style, surrounded by tall stone walls and guarded by armed men, whose shadows cast menacingly over the corridors illuminated by dim lights. The air was filled with the smell of tobacco and whisky, an oppressive atmosphere that reflected the cold and ruthless personality of the mafioso. Andrei, a man with a penetrating gaze and a stern expression, walked with a firm step among his henchmen.

The Alpha's Fateful Witch

The Alpha's Fateful Witch

It was there that Blondie and his men led them, as they climbed the porch steps and entered through the front door. The interior of the cabin was much larger than she had expected with high, slanted ceilings and burnished wooden floors. It would have been light and airy if not for the Gothic decor, everywhere were intricately carved ornaments and furniture, depicting demonic figures and scenes. The thick drapes were drawn, completely blocking any light from entering and painting the inside of the house in shadows. Ornate lamps, placed throughout the room, were the only source of light but even they, struggled to dispel the gloom.
