When the Bosses Meet

When the Bosses Meet

' Nona pecked him on the left cheek even as she scolded him. 'We don't want the twins picking up your awful habits grandpa.' Julia joined, flanking her grandfather with Nona. 'They'll be damn lucky if they are anything like me, right kids?' The children made faces, and brought out their tongues. 'Theodora! Theodore!' Nona rolled her eyes, she had gotten used to them already. Ricky drew Jade closer, his eyes apologetic. 'Grandpa, meet Jade, my friend and business partner. Jade, this is my grandfather, Charles. He insists he's old though, unlike Nona, and requests that everyone calls him grandpa.'

Loving The Wrong Man

Loving The Wrong Man

Grandpa Ronald turned to walk away, leaving his grandson behind in disbelief. Lebron was utterly stunned. It appeared that his grandpa had truly made up his mind. The old man who had never accepted failure was suddenly not concerned about the marriage proposal anymore. The only explanation for the situation was that he had indeed been tricked by Cherry. What kind of a person was Grandpa Ronald? Back in the day, he was one of the most powerful men in the entire city. He was different from the regular soldiers. He was never one to care about trivial matters and dared to risk his life on things he was determined about.

Avoiding The Billionaire

Avoiding The Billionaire

He glanced around with his big eyes, while remaining at ease within his daddy’s strong arms. In the living room, Grandpa was seated on an antiquated, oriental mahogany armchair. He had a neatly trimmed beard and wore a pair of golden rim glasses. Although he was ninety six years of age, with a ruddy complexion he looked as if he was in his early sixties. That pair of eyes behind the glasses held a formidable strength. When he caught sight of the two people — an adult and a child — coming in, the pair of eyes behind the glasses widened. He held up the rim of his glasses and gazed intently at the little boy who his grandson had walked in with. So this was the child?

My Grandfather And His Pink Car

My Grandfather And His Pink Car

“You claimed you were the chairman’s grandson, and yet you don’t even recognize your own grandfather?” Preston froze, then his eyes flicked between my face and Grandpa’s, picking up the resemblance. Finally, he laughed in mock realization. “I see it now. You’re this woman’s grandfather!” He slapped his thigh dramatically. “You old fool! Your granddaughter is pretending to be the chairman’s granddaughter, and now you’re pretending to be the chairman, aren’t you? Is scamming a family business?” “You!” Grandpa broke into a violent coughing fit. He was shaking in anger.

Codename: Blackheart

Codename: Blackheart

he fills me in. Both sets of my grandparents got along great so I’m not surprised grandpa went to visit them. Grandpa Mihalis was a former member of the Greek Mafia, but he and Grandma Noemi have both retired from their life of crime. I miss them very much, so I visit them when I can, or they visit us here. “And how has retirement been for you?” I ask suspiciously. Grandpa Titus is also retired but has a hard time letting go. He shrugs, “It’s been like retirement. Nothing worth reporting.”

This was my favorite book from this author. It was so entertaining from start to finish, and was incredibly well written. I don't normally read this genre, but knew it would be good, as all her work is amazing. It exceeded my expectations. I am hooked and can't wait for the next book in the series!

"So when will Grandpa return?" His grandmother only seemed even more annoyed. She did not care about that old geyser, death is what he deserved. "He is not returning anywhere Christian. Grandpa is dead dead. He is not breathing and they will dig a hole and throw him in there then we will forget about him. Grandpa was not a very nice person."

This book is intriguing. Well written. Really an eye opener for those that need to learn more about what the ancestors went through during slavery that wasn’t in the U.S. I felt for Paneshe. She was such a strong Black young lady.

hi author I really appreciate you writing such a wonderful story. I will be happy if you will write a story about the white lady who had an affair with one of the slaves in another plantation and they had a child. William mentioned it in one of the letters he wrote to Panashe

The Scarlett Alpa's And His Omega

The Scarlett Alpa's And His Omega

“I don’t want you to bother with this, dad. Kate isn’t your only granddaughter and you couldn’t have done anything special for my two daughters.” “They are my grandchildren, ah… I think today is enough for me to meet you here. I’m going home because I have an important meeting to attend. I will visit you here often.” Grandpa said. “Okay, dad.” “And remember Crysie, you are part of my blood. I won’t let anyone hurt you. And thank you very much for still wanting to see the two of us.” Grandpa rubbed the top of my head and kissed my cheeks. He is going home now. However, Grandma has never touched me with affection. What really happened?

The Sons Of God And The Daughters Of Humans

The Sons Of God And The Daughters Of Humans

I contemplated the victory for this conversation, but his smile showed that here I am, the stupid one who doesn't understand the actual world. "Why are you smiling at me like this? Prove to me if I am wrong," He backed himself. "Nothing, I am looking at you. You believe, whatever you see or feel is the truth, what about those things which you can't feel or see?" "Grandpa, I give up. It's hard for me to make old folks understand anything; it's you or dad," I rest my case. But Grandpa didn't want to give up. He looked at me and said, "Your rebellious nature is your identity; I was rebellious to my father. He threw me out of his home." He purred with a hidden message in his smile.

"What are you both doing here"? I asked them. They looked at me from the side eye and ignored me. Dude "We are thinking about our grandchildren" Grandpa said "Grandpa..." "What???I'm over seventy now. I'm retired and didn't do any work so I got tired and slept. If I had little grandchildren so I could play with them and then get tired and sleep....it's simple" he defended him seriously. Why does everyone want to see my children? I looked at them amazed and they both burst into laughter. What can I do with them?
