And now it's easier, the key sliding easily, closer, ever closer, until I have it, there at my feet. Quivering and shaking, running on an adrenaline high, I release my death-grip on the side. Stooping to retrieve my prize, reaching down, I raise my chin against the stinking wash over my mouth. The key's slippery in my fingers, sliding through the slime, trying to escape my hold. I bend a little further, and as my hand fastens around the Holy Grail, my feet slide from under me and I go down. My fall is speedy and inexorable. Scrabbling madly at the side with one hand, the other firmly gripped around the key, I can't stop myself. I have barely time to clamp my mouth closed as I go under.

"I'll be quick. I just need to ask the prisoner why he's so afraid of the dark." THE HEAVY DROP LEO’S P.O.V. I didn't take a cable. I didn't fly. I just fell. The ladder jerks without warning, as if the bullet shot its last legs, before the entire frame tips backwards. For one horrifying second, I’m weightless. For one horrifying second, I’m flying. No sound, not even my dedicated curse words, leave my lips as gravity, that cunning bitch, takes hold of me, rushing me straight towards the ground just like she did Icarus. My body slams hard with a sickening crunch against something unyielding before the ladder’s weight falls on me. A slow hum floods my body as it rings, every cell perhaps shaken by the crash.

BZZZ! Suddenly, Keagan found himself hurtling through the air, descending from the height of a three-story building toward a solid slab of concrete below. All he could anticipate was the painful impact that awaited him—bruises, broken bones, and aching limbs. To his astonishment, as he collided with the ground, it felt as though he had merely shifted in his sleep. He run his hands over his body in disbelief, searching for any signs of the fall. Yet, there were no marks, no indications of the tremendous impact he had just experienced. It was as if he had defied the laws of gravity and emerged unscathed. The friction between their gloves and rope gave off tiny sparks. In the blink of an eye, Charmine shot down to the seventh floor. The two men hastily grabbed onto the rope and tightly gripped it to stop the free-fall. The rope stopped reeling after that, but Charmine was suspended in the air.

It’s a trap, we are meant to jump over. It’s over for me” I say sitting down with my back against one of the dirt walls. No wolf or man could climb or jump out of this hole. “Jump Kate, win this shit!” I yell at her, and she looked despaired, but nodded at me. She disappeared from my sight for a few seconds until I saw flying over the deep grave in a beautiful jump. I could hear her land safely on the other side and I smiled at the thought of her winning.

The moment she felt a stop on the acceleration that had pulled her body down was the moment she had reached the ground. Josie tried to adjust her eyes to the sudden light that she saw, opening only to find the dungeon that had been built under the house.

And at this moment, Hunter had an extremely appalled expression on his face! There was a look of astonishment and terror resembling that of a three-year-old child on his fierce and vicious face. Hunter could not understand how Charlie could catch his fist when he had already struck at full force. What was even more outrageous was that at the moment when Charlie had grabbed his arm, the mighty force that he had accumulated and gathered on his arm had suddenly disappeared into thin air. This kind of feeling felt just like a person who was jumping from an altitude of ten thousand meters. As the acceleration and force of gravity got stronger, the speed and strength would also become greater and
