I hear my dads voice echo in my head. "Sorry dad." I whisper, causing the wolves ears to flick and tilt their heads, I take that as my chance to run. I see a cliff, the sound of the water getting louder as I rush towards it. "Stop." A familliar voice yelled, the wolves growled but halted in their tracks, I on the other had did not stop, as I reached the edge of the cliffe I jumped, terrified of heights, but the adrenaline pushed me through my fear. "Shit." I heard him shout before I crashed into the water. In that moment I knew I was safe.

It was almost overwhelming and caused the hair on his arms to stand on ends. The old man grabbed a large object from the floor near Tyler and threw it into the middle of the room. The force of the wind caused Tyler to lose his balance and fall to the ground, landing hard on the balls of his feet. Before he could try standing up again, the ground fell out from under him, sending him tumbling through the air. The last thing Tyler saw before he completely blacked out was one of the glowing orbs floating in the center of the room spinning slowly while a figure walked across the room towards it.

The joining of our skin always causes me to have sparks all over. I know I'm used to being in the fight or flight survival mode, but if I'm going to make things work with Ty, I need to start trusting him. He's trying so hard; I know he is, and for that... She took a moment to realize we arrive and she did not waste time to open the door oblivious to our entwined hands. She stopped abruptly looking at our hands, shock visible on her face and I borrowed the same expression. With a flushed face, Bella pulled out her hand stalking out of the car leaving me to wake up Dylan who dozed off somewhere in the ride. Bella's POV Leo caught up to me easily as I climbed the stairs slowly trying not to trip over myself. Why does this goddamned church have so many stairs. Right now I was on the twentieth stair trying to calm my uneven breathing.

The owl was gone. I walked towards the window and looked at the kingdom below. It was peaceful. Too peaceful. How could people laugh beneath the rule of a tyrant. Were they blind? Or was I? Nothing made sense. “It doesn’t matter,” I murmured to myself. “I’ll kill him anyways.” As if it was as easy as I said it. He was stronger. Smart. Always three steps ahead. If I wanted to defeat him, I had to go down to his pathetic level.

Then, I continued, "You married me for my family's resources. You set up the car crash that took my womb away just so you could marry Yvonne. "You pretended to be a loving, loyal man for ten years and used me as a stepping stone. You treated my love for you as a joke. You're begging for my help not because you've repented, but because prison is a harsh place. You're terrified that your old life will never come back."

Ty grunts as he throws a fist into Onyx’s side. Onyx doesn’t even make a sound as he spins to the side, catching Ty’s flexed hand under his arm and throws an elbow to his face. Ty is able to duck enough that the elbow hits his cheek, but it still sends his head snapping back. Onyx takes the chance to sweep Ty’s legs out from under him, throwing him hard to the ground. Ty’s breath whooshes out of him in a wind tunnel sound as he barks a cough out.

Its first step shattered the ground. Not metaphorically. Literally. The moment the colossal being—the First Tyrant—placed its foot upon the valley, the ground did not just crack. It gave way. Entire acres of earth crushed inward like paper being crumbled by an invisible hand. High mountains in the distance warped, their peaks bending sideways as gravity itself lost direction around them. Dax instinctively grabbed Aria just a second before the ground beneath them tilted violently. “Move, Aria!”

I must see her. "I want to see her now!" "Trent, there is..." Tyrone's voice breaks and for a moment there, I think he's going to burst into tears. Why is he being emotional? "What dad?" "There is something I need to tell you," says Tyrone. "What?" he's starting to freak me out and I hate it. "Due to the bullet wounds on both your legs, the doctor has said your legs are paralyzed. You won't be able to walk again." The beating of my heart stops. The world around me stops for a second as his words sink deep into my mind.
